<p>Apparently they really want me to go. Got an email a week before decisions telling me I would be getting into Olin and inviting me to an Olin Spotlight Weekend. My ECs are good, multiple varsity sports, captain varsity bball, few academic awards, community service. Sorry for those that got waitlisted or rejected. Im sure you were just as qualified to attend. But please don’t start saying all the “good” people got waitlisted and take the sweetness out of it for us acceptees. Just because you have good stats doesn’t guaruntee you a spot.</p>

<p>I think this thread is missing a major part of the wash u admissions decisions-extra curricular activities. Props for putting in visited and interviewed. It seems like most of the kids who did get in showed some interest in the school. To anyone who did get in, congrats. If you choose to go there, I will see you next year.
