Thanks! I bought it at Anthropologie off the clearance rack. It’s been retired there, but you can find it on e Bay pretty easily at a good discount.

An ipad. I’ve been waiting patiently for the ipad 2 to come out. I learned a long time ago to never buy the 1st generation of any technology. The ipad 2 is suppose to be released this April. Yea! Like Barrons - I don’t really need one but just want it. :)

Adding texting to my cell phone plan. But right now D1 calls me almost every day from college. I don’t want to give up chats for texts, and I am afraid that is what will happen if I add it…

Nothing wrong with Ipad 1. ;)

I believe ,if you can afford it without incurring debt, why wait…life is way too short

Just a thought–you can often add just text messaging to one line at a minimal fee or just a nominal per text charge. I would not want to trade texting for talking either! I have each of my kids with an inexpensive text plan (250 messages @ $5 for S & 500 messages @ $10 for D). I had unlimited texts with a prior phone plan & didn’t use it all that much–was overrated for me. Now I just pay $.10/text or it’s included as part of my 1500 minutes or texts/month @ $30 from TMobile pre-paid plan.

A Hot Tub. To go out on the side of the pool deck. I love my pool but I HATE to be cold. At all. I’d love to be able to hop into the hot tub and warm up my old bones any old time.

As much as I hate to be cold, H hates to be hot, so it’s been a hard sell so far.

Gee, you guys are tempting. Maybe I’ll get an Ipad before we go on our next trip. It seems like something that could be handy on the airplane/hotel/car drive. Hmmm, maybe people will sell off their existing ipads when the ipad2s come out & you can score a great deal.

I also wanted a certain watch - for 3 years. Couldn’t bring myself to buy it for myself. H finally bought it for me for Christmas. He won’t be sorry - when I have a “nice” watch I wear it every day for years and years till the band turns nasty and even then I do the nail polish trick and wear it a few more years.

My new 1 item I’d love to have - an iPod Touch. I don’t even have an iPod non-touch or any other kind. I have tons of music I’d like to have on a music player that’s portable, but would also like acces to radio stations. I don’t think the iPod Touch gets radio?

A lot of your “cheaper” MP3 players have the FM receiver built into them. I’ve had a couple that have. I currently have a Sony Walkman I’m pretty sure is its name. It’s an 8GB that was $90 last summer I think…

ipod touch can use the “I HEART RADIO” app. Many of my favorite stations are on it. And there is AOL radio app and Pandora. I have an iphone with very few tunes loaded but all three apps for listening during my gym time.

This:

[bag that costs as much as a tropical vacation for 2.](http://www.gucci.com/us/styles/263954ANG0G9907#)

Not in this lifetime. It costs as much as a typical HI vacation for the two of us. But my iPhone screen is covered with drool. :)

Pergo wood flooring for my house

This is interesting! Many of us have “itches” that are not so unrealistic.

On the other hand, some are!!! :)

abasket…get the Kindle! (or Nook, but I am partial to Amazon and Kindle…) I, too, hemmed and hawed for a year at least. H finally got tired of my indecision and surprised me at Christmas. I. Love. It. The downside is, it is a time sink. Tired of reading? No problem, how about a word game. Or Sudoku. Or check FB. Or CC… Get my drift? I’ve had to consciously limit my time on the darn thing because I was getting nothing done around the house! Go for it…you won’t be sorry!

I’m bad… whenever I have an “itch” I scratch it and buy… haha

Last year I was ‘itching’ for a new blu ray player for my living room. I went to the store, found the one I wanted. Decided that old blu ray player would be relocated to my bedroom. Decided what’s the sense of having a blu ray player on an old box tv so I came home with a new TV for the bedroom as well, lol. My BF came over and just shook his head when he saw all the boxes in my living room.

Two things for me, but neither one is likely to happen soon. sigh.
- a new dinette set. The one we have is worn out and the chairs are the cheapo banquet type chairs from Costco.
- A new sewing machine to replace my 40+ year old singer. I would love to be able to not fuss with the tension every time I sew!

But it’s good to dream!

OK, maybe I’ll think about the ipod touch as well instead of the ipad. Sometimes I think we can drown in gadgets, so I’ll keep resisting awhile.

I’m very fortunate - there’s really no ‘thing’ that I’m itching to get. I spend more money getting other people things than myself. Sometimes I think I already have too many things.

I did, however, finally order myself a Kindle (after already having purchased one previosuly for someone else). I read a lot and want the convenience of being able to instantly get a new book rather than ordering one through Amazon and waiting for it or having to go to a store for one (bookstores are getting further and further between nowadays as they keep going out of business). I also like the idea of not having to carry multiple books on a trip. I hope I like it okay once it arrives.

Ooohhh…

1) Yard service. The guys aren’t home, DH won’t do it (native NYer; believes we should pave it all), I don’t have the strength to do the heavy stuff, much less the tree trimming, etc. that desperately needs to take place. I can do the flowers and shrubs, but having someone to do the heavy landscaping and maintenance on a regular basis would be heaven.

2) Handyman for a week to do similar projects indoors.

3) King size bed. No room in a queen for DH, me AND the dog.

4) Sofa futon in S1’s room, which doubles as my craft room when he’s gone. Would buy me a lot more useful space.

Suspect #3 will happen first, as DH has a vested interest! :)

Oh yeah I forgot- I want a shed/office/hidey place.
