Jeans or a cargo skirt, t-shirt (but a “girl fit” one), and barefoot. Absolutely barefoot. There are no shoes on Earth as comfy as no shoes.
^^^ Well anything on a beach is a given, of course!!!
My work clothes are comfortable - but not what I want to wear for “home activities” like walking the dog, yard work, walking myself, laundry, prepping dinner, etc.
^^ Me, too! As soon as I get home from work, off come the business clothes & shoes. And then I don my grey yoga pants and favorite grey Tshirt. I’ve got duplicates of these schleppy comfort clothes.
Bare feet.
apparently @thumper1 and I are twins.
NYDJs v-neck t-shirt, sandals in the summer, Merrels in the winter. I’m always cold in the winter so I have a lot of comfy cardigans. I work at home and wear boiled wool slippers most of the time.
old, old, old jeans, barefoot, and a girly-cut T shirt from my mom’s alma mater. Most comfortable things I’ve ever owned…
@greenbutton has been raiding my closet.
All my jeans get holes in the left knee. I still wear them in public, like I’m an 8 year old boy or something.
I love my jeans, too. Madewell jeans were made for me. I also could wear my Fellow Flowers t-shirts every day. They are so comfortable and soft.
Mathmom. I also wear Merrills in the winter. Too funny!
thumper, mathmom, make it 3. I love my NYDJ, so rotate 3 pair, a jersey of some type depending on season and a cardigan of some type depending on season. In the house I am either barefoot in warm weather or in socks in cold. Going out I put on flats.
Did anyone see Good Morning America today? Search on-line for Why Woman Decided to Wear Same Look for Work Every Day. It’s so funny that this makes national news.
I am someone who just doesn’t enjoy being barefoot unless I’m on a beach. Seriously, I tend to always have something on my feet. I think I’m in the minority.
I’m with you, abasket. I almost always have Oofas sandals or Uggs slippers on- at least.
I’m another one who works from home. I always dress nicely casual during the weekday since I work and then go out to do errands, apps, etc., but while I’m home, I must have fluffy slippers on or fluffy socks on! On weekends, when I’m around the house I occasionally like to be in a sweat outfit and sneakers…I have a pair of black jeans that are very comfortable, in fact I’m wearing them now! When I go out to client meeting, I’m always in work attire: (casual) skirts or dresses…
Capri yoga pants from Lucy or Costco, tank from Anthropologie, white waffle t long sleeve shirt from Old Navy. Socks are no see Smartwool and running shoes.
Abasket I always wear shoes. I have wimpy feet.
Jeans and a t-shirt here, and I love it to be just chilly enough that I want a sweater. I love wearing a sweater!
Some summers I will be in sandals or barefoot, but most of the time it’s sneakers or boat shoes, and I almost always wear socks in the house…'cause they are like a sweater, for your feet!
Lucy Lotus yoga pants, cami, long sleeved thin (like burnout fabric) tee, infinity scarf and a cardigan (thickness varies with weather) that covers my rear end. In winter I wear socks and slip on shoes like Birks or Crocs. In the summer it is barefoot and sandals.
One of three pairs of jeans. One of six fitted long-sleeve Ts, or one of eight short-sleeve Ts, depending on the weather. Usually a sweater – ideally my Lands End cashmere cardigan… And always, always the same pair of silver shoes that I got at a super duper sale, that cost me around 8 bucks.
If I have to go out, I’ll put on make up. Sometimes.
Lucy yoga pants or capris, t-shirt, zip-up jacket in either fleece or a knit depending on the season, sandals in warm weather, merrells the rest of the time. And hoop earrings.
I go to the office daily, but now that I am oldish, I wear black jeans often instead of the heavier pants. I have navy linen pants and some patterned jeans. Pretty tops and sandals with wedge or small heel. Years ago, I wore dresses, pant suits, “outfits”. My work clothes are my weekend clothes now.
I have 2 pairs of short Merrell boots for the few chilly days.
