The Preparation Initiative

I got mail about this program affiliated with Ross called the Preparation Initiative. It sounds like a great program that would really fit what I am interested in, i.e. mandatory study sessions, coaching sessions, business related activities, etc.

What makes me iffy about applying is the 8-12 hours of week devoted for this program which would include “coached courses, coaching sessions, review sessions, office hours, structured study time, and personal preparation” as well as the weekly meeting on fridays from 1-2:30 PM.

Is this program worth it? In college, is 8-12 hours a lot to spend for this? Will there be enough time for my sociallife?

I feel like what they offer me, would help me academically and aid in my business orientated path I plan to achieve.

Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks a lot!

One more month until school! woohoo!

I’m in a program like that in the summer for biology. I find it really helpful. If you really want to succeed in the business area, I suggest you do it. The mandatory study sessions will really teach you how to budget your time and you’ll be put into good study habits. Coaching sessions and review sessions are extremely helpful and other students would kill to get into them. If you’re really set on business, I suggest doing it!

Parth, are you a pre-admit to Ross?

Rockbiter, are you talking about Mbio?

Yep. OMG Parth is that you?!?! Gahhhh why didn’t you tell me this before?!?!
