Has anyone tried weighted blankets? I have trouble sleeping, and I move around a lot. Someone I work with says she was similar, and got a weighted blanket. She says it has been life changing (she isn’t prone to drama).
They just did a segment on the weighted blankets on our local news this evening.
A few months ago I looked them up on Amazon and read through the reviews. They might be helpful.
My anxious daughter uses a weighted blanket. She loves it. However, it seems hot. It always gets thrown off.
My D got one and loves it. Says she has almost Pavlovian response to it - gets under it, falls asleep. I want one but need to get one of cool max ones which are more expensive
Interesting. I suspect I will get too hot also, so will check out the cool max.
I have two pyrex bowls of the same size and shape. They are stuck together and I can not get them unstuck. I have put them in a bowl of hot water with cold water in the top bowl and I tried ice cubes instead of the cold water. I have also sprayed WD40 around where they are stuck. I got it to move just a fraction of an inch.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get them unstuck?
Put them in the freezer overnight and see if you can get them apart then.
Try drizzling cooking oil along the rim, maybe use a paring knife to help the oil seep between the bowls, wait 20 minutes, then tap gently with a wooden spoon.
Any experience with BOOM cosmetics? Marketed for “women of a certain age” who like minimal makeup/skincare. I’ve heard some raves on a forum, but maybe these were advertising plants…

@veryhappy they finally came apart. It took longer than expected in the freezer, then H took a disposable knife from a fast food place and put between the bowls then they popped apart. I had tried a regular knife (didn’t work), some other thin flat thing (didn’t work), 3-4 different types of oils and sprays (none worked) and freezing for two nights. They finally came apart.
