Hope it helps. Just looked up differentiating migraine from sinus headaches and many sources verify a tendency to confuse them, with the error seeming to go towards ‘over-attribution’ to sinus issues. Worth a google. I am a migraineur and can feel a pop up thunder storm approaching before the clouds, rain and breeze arrive. The headache makes me check my radar app and there it is.

Question: person sitting not too far from me in our hotel lobby just announced to the person she is talking to that she has pinkeye. How far away should we move?

I wouldn’t be too worried. They would have to wipe their eye, touch something, then you touch that and wipe your eye.
H has had it twice in the last 2 years and doesn’t care at all about being careful, and nobody else has gotten it.

Birthday shopping for my husband. He’s mentioned that he’d like a v-neck merino black sweater (XXL, tall if possible). I have found one at Orvis - no black, but the charcoal or navy colors could work. Other suggestions for merino? or other light/warm fabric, but machine washable?
Maybe check recommendations of wire cutter of nytimes? I believe they had some recommendations.

H is 6’4 and finds the Charles Trywhitt sleeve length works.
We also saw some sportier versions when we were at REI but they were changing over their inventory to spring/summer so that may be a harder find there.

Thanks! That is a great buy. And machine washable too. Per the reviews, the sizing (esp tall) seems large… so too bad only 3x/4x (regular and tall) available. Still I might give it a try and return if needed.

Hope it works out! The sizing chart shows that the 3X tall is 1/2 to 1 inch bigger than the 2x tall in three measurements. Maybe those reviewers didn’t check the chart first?

Thanks for all the good suggestions on merino wool v-neck sweaters. My husband does not like shopping, and his size not always available. I may order a few for his birthday and then handle the return logistics for him.

Sweater follow-up. I deferred ordering (birthday not for a few more weeks) and missed the good sale at Charles Tyrwhitt website. But I did order the Brooks Brothers (got an extra 20% off the good sale price) and the JCrew (free shipping when enrollment in “club”). That will give my husband two to choose from… or we can return both and continue trying others.

Hello all
A bird entered my friend’s home last evening through an open door and it doesn’t know how to get out. It’s been flying around on the 2nd floor and hitting against windows.
As of this morning it’s still there. It seems to have slept quietly through the night. Any ideas how to get this bird out?
