Excellent point. (I finally cleared out all my ancient covid tests at my house a few months ago). My guess is that urgent care will run another test later today.
We have some tests which expired recently but the control line still shows and no other line, so I BELIEVE they are still good. Our tests are for Flu A/B, RSV & COVID and show all control lines and no others.
Is anyone besides me having trouble getting into Bluesky today?? The little circle just spins and spins.
What’s bluesky?
Just got in, no problem.
I just got in too. But it’s happened a couple of times today. Weird.
A Twitter/X replacement.
Anyone else do January cleaning? I always feel moved after the holidays to do a big cleanup.
Today was the drawer with the large amount of charging cords that I have no idea what they are for. And the batteries from the Costco sized packs that seem to have migrated from their packaging. I’m making a pile for my husband to look through before I get rid of some of them.

Speaking of batteries, my husband was gifted this battery storage box and absolutely loves it! The tester function is quite handy, too.

I was just going to suggest this. My sister gave my husband a big one and me a smaller one. When I first got it I thought “I don’t need this…what was she thinking?”
And…I love it so much. It’s the thing you didn’t know you need until you have one.
Yes! ![]()
It sounds like a good thread subject. ![]()
I’m the one that drove up the price of the Dash egg cooker on amazon…lol.
But it HAS been a while. But I do need more fun suggestions…
In case any of you remember, from Post #7547 or so, I was offered $97 from Replacements.com for a three-piece carving set. I just sold it on eBay for $245!! I needed to pay ~$11 for shipping and a fee to eBay, but I cleared around $220. I’m a happy girl!!
On to the next item that I’ll post on eBay.
– a two-piece carving set in the pattern Hyperion by Whiting. Here are pix. The pattern is remarkably complicated and elaborate.
We are Battery Daddy evangelists. Everyone in the family now has one & wonders how they lived without it.
Thanks, just ordered it.
Random question: has anyone ordered contacts from 1-800-Contacts or other discount source (Costco?) that you’ve liked?
I’ve ordered from my eye doctors for years and am looking to cut costs. Figuring they are all the same manufactured product so trying to find the least expensive source!
Used 1-800-contacts for years with no problems. Very convenient and good price.
Not only have we ordered contacts from Costco, we use their optometrist for prescriptions. Have been very happy with their service and continue to use them!
??? Not getting what you are trying to say. Sorry!
How is optometrist connected to the battery box?
Love 1-800 contacts. Been ordering for many years, probably over 10 if not 15-20. Never an issue. And honestly calling over the phone is the easiest. And this comes from a person who despise the phone. They always have an actual human answer the phone and they are helpful!
You can also always return unused ones if you get a new prescription. Or if any are defective.
