The Sour Grapes Thread (Fun)

Zebras are actually quite ferocious and are responsible for many zookeeper injuries and deaths every year.

when i got rejected at Exeter [my first choice], i remember thinking “that’s okay, wouldn’t want to be cooped up with a bunch of drones anyway”

WL at deerfield:

It’s ok, I didn’t want to be stuck hundreds of miles away in the middle of cornfields anyways.

Thanks for the acceptance but regret to inform that you got our son’s gender wrong again and he wants to know if he will have to reside in the girls dorm.

Not really sour grapes but I got a chuckle from my child’s response. We were meandering around a particularly picturesque Mass. BS in the late fall after our tour. I turned to my child and said, “Well, what do you think”? Said child looked at me with a puzzled look and said, “I don’t know mom, I am expecting pilgrims bearing cornucopias to appear any moment”.

one certain school (neato knows which i’m referring to):

accepted students can’t seem to spell. seriously. it’s frightening, actually…

^^ it’s epidemic. Maybe that school will correct them…one can hope.

After an “evening” with a certain school, I asked my D what she thought. She pointed out to me that the alumnus said “um” 52 times during his talk…and that was from when she decided to start counting.
