I’m thinking now that I’m done paying tuition planning a trip next year with my sister. I’ve been to Miami tourney many times but never to IW and there are some beautiful hotel & spas there - perfect for a girls weekend out.
Today and tomorrow (I think) are just the women - men are still in qualies so not on TV. There has been no one in the stands at all.
I arrived here today and have tickets for Thursday through Sunday, day and evening sessions. Can’t wait!

I’m just watching the night matches now. Bethany’s kit almost looks normal.
I see Serena is returning to Indian Wells.
Yep - but I don’t think Venus is there. Don’t know if it’s because she is still boycotting, injured, or just wanting a break.
Does Serena really want to be here? So far, she’s playing like crap.
Serena is carrying a lot of baggage WRT Indian Wells. I am not a fan of hers really but it has to be tough.
I’m not a fan of hers either and I can’t wait until this first match is over and the comms stop talking about it. Why do they have to make everything so dramatic!

Looked like some v good matches yesterday. We were away all day/evening so I didn’t start watching until late last night. Got through the 3rd set of Dimi/Nick - right after he twisted his ankle and fell asleep - so I had to watch the end this morning. Bad break for the Aussie to get injured when right before serving for match.
FF’d through Serena and watched the end of Stan/Hasse (nice win for him) and end of Sock match now. I’m playing at noon so will ff’s through a lot of the rest of the matches - so I won’t be hopelessly behind today.
