Ugh! Poor Venus a rain delay at match point.
I don’t understand why they would put a ladies 3rd round first on when other players haven’t even played their second Rd- especially when they knew rain was in the forecast!
Nole has to be happy with the rain and getting off the court today after two disastrous sets.

Well, that was a SHOCK. The men’s tournament just got more interesting.

Djokovic is being very gracious in his press conference. Giving Querrey credit for playing very well. Not making excuses. Huge disappointment for him. Happy for winning 4 grand slams in a row. Focus on that right now rather than losing today. Querrey hit an amazing number of huge serves when he needed them.

I re-watched the end of the Querrey-Djokovic match on the Tennis Channel. I thought it was pretty classy of Djokovic to sign autographs on his way out.
I predict that Querrey will win Wimbledon! Ok, so I am half Djoking, but If you think about it, in 19 of the last 20 majors (since Wimbledon 2011 until the French Open 2016) you have had only 2 winners; Djokovic with 10, and the one who beat Djokovic with 9. The only exception was Nishikori in the US Open if 2014. In all the other cases, the one who beat Djokovic went on to win the tournament. Obviously, that’s because in most cases, Djokovic lost in the semis or finals, but the way Querrey is playing at the moment, he has a shot. I would like to see him win.
I am rooting for Federer but would be happy with a Querrey win. A couple years ago at the US Open his dad sat in front of us on the Grandstand. I think he didn’t sit in the players box because he is so tall.
