You’re not even giving Maria a chance?
I’m hoping Big Bird shows up in Singapore, trying to peddle her gum.
Get back to Harvard, Maria! Several spots open for The Moral Leader in spring term.
I’m not a fan of Maria at all but I think the tribunal went way overboard. I’m glad CAS reduced it. I don’t give a hoot that she took it for 10 years as it wasn’t illegal to do so until 1/116.
Very interesting podcast on the case and CAS decision if anyone is interested.

So happy to see Del Potro with an ATP title. Amazing comeback. With return of Roger in 2017 it should be a fun year ahead.
Yep. Was a lovely win for him. Hopefully his ranking will be up where he’ll be seeded at the AO.
Great match between Sveta and Pome. Aga v Angie was a dud but I’m glad Angie made the final as she deserves to with season she has had. The rr match between Domi and Angie was a tight 3 set affair so the final should be good.
Need to still watch the men’s matches.
Kim Clijsters had her 3rd child today. ![]()
Amazing how much Jada looks just like her!

Really enjoyed watching the doubles the last few days and well done to Pome on biggest title of her career. Being a shorty myself, I’m always pleased when one of my own kind comes through. She was just relentless the last few matches,
I just love Domi’s game. Total aggression in a 5’2" package. Respect!
Mo shaved the hideous facial hair he was sporting last week in Stockholm (or was it two weeks ago?) He is now lovelyMohamed again.
Not one compelling match (that I’ve seen) in Bercy yet.
Well done Marin!

So Murray becomes #1 player with a w/o in SF by the Robot.
I wonder if Djoker will give Murray a congratulatory hug. :))
I actually never thought Andy would be #1, ever.
Andy’s been playing very well lately. He is definitely playing better than anybody else, and has been for the last 4 months. While it seemed unlikely in June, in retrospect, it is not surprising for two reasons:
First of all, Djokovic had an unprecedented 24 months run from July 2014-June 2016. In that period, he won 6 of 8 majors, including 4 consecutive from July 2015-June 2016. In that period, he also won 10 Masters and both World Tour Finals. That level of dominance cannot be sustained indefinitely. Only Federer came close in the 2006-2007, but then, in 2008, Federer experienced a low, winning only one major (the USO), and not a single Masters/World Tour Final title.
Secondly, Djokovic had way too many points to defend.
It will be interesting to see how Djokovic responds in London next week. Will he continue to self-destruct, or will he return to form? I suspect he will not return to form until sometime in mid 2017.
Long hugs taking away from practice time.
Hehe! I am a big fan of Nole, but I have to admit emilybee, he has outdone himself here. And that’s saying a lot considering his long list of eccentricities! LOL!
Pepe gave me the creeps just looking at him.
It remind me of Patty Snyder and her Svengali. That didn’t turn out well.
Yeah, he looks like a bonafide sleaze bucket. Oh well, let us see if Becker and Marian are back with him in London next week.
Really good match between KikiM and KaPlisk in first match of Fed Cup. 3:47 I think.
So happy there is tennis on for the next 8 days.
ATP Champ draw came out on Thursday. Poor VB got the wrong end of that stick.
Petra.
Great Fed Cup Final. Really enjoyed all the matches! Well done to the Czechs on getting the hat trick!
