There are no vacant positions in Georgia for professionals

These days many talk about Georgia’s economic advance, but I have to say it is malarkey. Last year I graduated from Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Economics and Business, and I have to say I still can’t find a job. When a few years ago I entered our University we were promised a hundred-per-cent job placement because Georgia will need specialists in various spheres, especially Economics. And that made my choice. I’m degreed economist I know statistics that showed that since 2004, the time when Saakashvili entered the office, the unemployment level raised from 12% to 17% in 2012. I have no choice except for visiting local placement bureau where I was told that today it’s hard to find even a job of dishwasher, because the level of unemployment will continue to grow while officials say that they are going to lower it to 10%, but I have no idea how they are going to do that while they can’t place in a job many young specialists… I’m not the only one… Here is Georgian economical miracle… So, if any of you thinking of studying or working in Georgia, take a notice it’s not that simple…
