I really have nothing to say about this but I felt like it needed to be shared for anyone not watching the news.

Is he authorized to do so? If not, isn’t that trespassing and can’t he be arrested?

Nope, not authorized. The cops are trying to get to him. They’ve broken windows and they’re now lowering the window washing thing (sorry, blanking on the term) to try to capture him but he keeps moving away.
They can’t get to him to apprehend him. They’re trying.
Oh brother.
Does anyone know if they evacuated the building? I know it’s after typical work hours but I’m not sure what’s in the tower (businesses? residential quarters?)
Probably has been watching the Olympics and is just looking to help improve blood flow in the building.
This guy is shutting down the city during rush hour so that people can’t get home.
Trump Tower is not next to Central Park.
But it’s only a couple of blocks from the south end.
Fwiw, some call it buildering. And they tend to get charged with a misdemeanor and released for a later court date.
Oh well, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know.

At 6:00 I turned on the local (NYC market) news. It’s now 6:26, and the camera has been trained on him the entire time, with newscasters ad-libbing for 30 minutes! Don’t they have anything better to report on?
^ That’s annoying. Keep it in the corner and go to it if anything happens like MSNBC is doing (that’s the channel I have on- not sure whether it’s the same way on other national news programs).
When people do illegal stunts like this for publicity, why does the media give them publicity?
The police just grabbed him. Reached out through an open window and pulled him inside.
Looks like they got him.
Because the media is profiting from it.
I see they haven’t released his name, kind of makes me think. Maybe this is a stunt by Gary Johnson (Libertarian candidate) to get in the debates…he’s a serious rock climber.
If so, hope it works!
Because the “media” don’t know if he’s doing it for publicity or some other reason and I for one don’t want news people or anyone else deciding what I want to watch. They can report it and I’ll decide if it’s worth paying attention to.
