Things That Really Annoy You

LOL, does he read CC?

Do they at least accept paper money? That’s a LOT of change O.O

They do not accept paper money. Often people get on and ask to buy a swipe from someone else’s card. If no one has extra money on the card they have to get off.

“LOL, does he read CC?”

Probably not, GA2012, but who knows. If so, let me declare that I’m weary of him getting mad at me for some transgression every 3-4 days. After decades of marriage, it’s getting exhausting and is a complete waste of time. Life is so much easier when you get annoyed for 0.5 seconds, and then let it go. It takes way too much energy to stay enraged for days over some trivial (and often imagined) slight!

Can someone tell me why people who are waiting for an elevator insist on huddling up to the door, and then are all surprised when the door opens and there are people inside who want to get out?

Why do able-bodied people drive around parking lots in circles for 10 minutes when they can just get a spot 3/4 of the way down in a row and walk in?

Ungrateful people.

Blacked out baseball games.

When I’ve set something on timer, usually a much anticipated baseball game, and find that I recorded four hours of Channel Temporarily Unavailable.

Ditto posts 205 and 206!!

People who leave their shopping carts in the middle of the parking lot. I hate it when I’m about to pull into a parking spot but it’s blocked by a cart. Laziness!

Blacked out hockey games. No, Versus, I do NOT want to buy you to watch my local NHL team. Go away.

from LasMa:

Another elevator related annoying thing: people who, when the elevator reaches the lobby, linger in the back of the elevator, transfixed by something on their phone, and take their own sweet time leaving the elevator, then are annoyed that people are entering the elevator?

How many of you guys have captivate screens in your elevators? Opened up a whole new can of annoyance with regard to elevators. Everyone wants to stand on that side to watch it, making the elevator off balance and causing people to jockey for position. Then people are even slower to get off because they might miss something.

What’s a captivate screen?

yeah, last year I thought stuff was just annoying. This year it got real

Having a friend with a child who killed him/herself.
Having friends who have siblings and also
children die suddenly.
Having friends with horrible bitter child-poisoning divorces.
Having friends learn they have life-ending situations.
Having friends who adopt their grandchildren and postpone retirement

Thanks for letting me vent
Back to your usual programming

People who leave their trash in shopping carts. Often it’s food wrappers, probably from their kids. I know it can be tough raising your kid but don’t make the rest of us clean up their trash.

It’s a video screen that streams top news stories and weirdo factoids. It really does keep you captive.

People that treat your kid like he’s stupid because he got a B. Jimminy crickets, they can’t all be geniuses like your kid. And it’s not like he was lazy this semester. He worked really hard. Sometimes a B is your best!

zoosermom, in elevators?? I haven’t run into that yet.
