Things to do in East Lansing

My mom and my younger sister are coming up with me but they're staying for about 10 days to wait on my dad to get there.

Do you guys know anything they can do while they're in EL? I probably won't be with them for much of the time because I wanna actually spend my time getting to know people at school.

Any suggestions would be great :)

Well, there is a pretty nice waterpark in EL- Family Aquatic Center

There is always the planetarium and gardens on the MSU property. Lansing has museums and political tours. There are a few malls within bus distance of MSU.

Hope that's a start.

Potter Park Zoo:)

Beal Gardens: Welcome to the W.J. Beal Botanical Garden
Children's Garden: 4-H Children's Garden: Overview Map/url
MSU Museum: [url=http://museum.msu.edu/]Michigan State University Museum

Kresge Art Museum: Kresge Art Museum | Home
Abrams Planetarium: Abrams Planetarium
Eastwood Towne Center: Eastwood Towne Center/url
Meridian Mall: www.meridianmall.com
(Not much there, but it's really close to MSU)

When my little brother/mom come down in the fall, I plan to take them around the MSU gardens, to the MSU museum, planetarium, the dairy store for some ice cream, and then to a football game.

Thanks for the suggestions guys :)
