The feeling of warm towels when they come out of the dryer. Some days it is the little things.
I’m hugely relieved that when my dad called with a question that sounded like a Nigerian Prince Scam, it seems to be turning out to be a normal thing.

D1 just got engaged! And thankfully she’s looking at next fall.
Saw my brother and his family for the first time since last Feb. I forgot how much I missed them.
After a winter storm from !# last night, we lost electricity and today water. All working now and feel grateful to utility employees. We have a warm home and a warm shower.
I am grateful almost every day for the wonderful place we moved into in January. Every morning, I look up the river, ShawWife and I feed to ducks who believe they live here, and I get to look at the river while I am working. Having this view and this serenity makes every day better.
