I am a junior in high school right now and have been thinking about taking the CHSPE over summer break. I am currently attending a middle college high school and am trying to earn 60 units by the end of the spring term 2018. However, there are a few obstacles to this such as the fact that all of the students attending my high school have later registration dates than the students only attending college and my school puts a limit on how many units i can take per semester (11 Fall/Spring 5 Summer/Winter). This has been making it very difficult to finish my classes by the end of Spring 2018. If i take the CHSPE then i will be able to take a full term in the spring therefore becoming eligible to apply as a transfer (my high school will only let you apply as a freshman even if you have 60 college units). This would be very beneficial for me seeing that my college transcript is much better than my high school transcript, but would universities look down on me for taking the test and graduating early? Are my chances drastically affected by this decision? Please let me know your thoughts on the matter!
also, i might as well add that i am trying to get into a competitive school for university such as UC Berkeley or UCLA
