This Summer

Okay, so I’m basically assuming I won’t get into TASS seeing as I only have my booklist plus 2 halves of 2 other essays so here are my options for this summer. Can you rank these for me however you deem necessary whether it’s by fun, prestige, value, a combination of these, etc. I’m just curious and want some input.

Option A:
-intense swimming, like 3 - 5 hours of practice daily
-online course, maybe philosophy or an AP
-take a vacation to Alaska
-go to Cinderella’s Castle and have royal treatment in Disney World for Make-a-Wish(my good friend has leukemia and for one reason or another her wish includes me)

Option B:
-intense swimming, like 3 - 5 hours of practice daily
-online course, maybe philosophy or an AP
-Governor’s School which is only 1 week where I live
-take a vacation to Alaska
-go to Cinderella’s Castle and have royal treatment in Disney World for Make-a-Wish

Option C:
-1 month of intense summer swimming
-Johns Hopkins CTY Princeton (10th-12th grade) for three weeks
-Governor’s School

Option D (longshot, and I’m not even sure I want it anymore):
-TASS

If I were you, I’d work on those TASS apps. You can do intense swimming there, you’ll be taking real-life courses, and it’ll be INTENSE!!

I’d do something that includes the Make-A-Wish for your friend with leukemia. I hope she gets better!

Are you saying I could swim for a swim team?

I’d say just apply to TASS. Who knows, you could get in.
If not, I’d do option B or C.

Option E: Have fun (you’re a fellow sophomore like me). ;)

If not, eh, option B.

You can always apply for that tass program if you want, once again. If you don’t get in, it’s not a big deal.

Try out option D even if u don’t think u can get— u have some probablity of getting in even if u apply, at lest it won’t be 0 if u don’t… if not option B and then C

apply for TASS, who knows if not choose B

Shoot for D, you have nothing to lose. However, colleges love CTY because of its great academic reputation, so option C also looks legit.
