Why did so many join in Rutgers? Didn’t get into BD/MDs from the so called prestigious school talked about here so very often?
They all love NJ and Rutgers- the Flagship University of the state of NJ, IMO. Did not even bother to apply elsewhere including those mentioned schools. They know that NJ’s medical schools prefer NJ resident during regular MD selection.
Precisely, that is the case with so many state MD schools, for same reason so many prefers state flagship UG for traditional route or instate private/ivy schools.
i got the upitt supplement, but haven’t received an email. should i wait a few days or should i try contacting them abt it??
one person (so take it with a grain of salt) said that the emails are personalized so you might have to wait a few days for them to get to you

If you do not apply, you will definitely NOT get an interview.
If you apply, there is a chance.

A very common feeling in light of not receiving interview invites is self-doubt.
Are my essays bad? Should I have written a different prompt? are my LORs not that great? Is my score a little bit less? Do I have less ECs?
If experiences from past years are any indicator, you may still get an interview call from supposedly “higher” ranked colleges even if “lower” ranked colleges give you a pass.
It is important to stay positive and focus on submitting supplementals and ride this roller-coaster till May 1.

Did anyone who gave an Adelphi Upstate Interview hear back yet?
I’m interested in BUSMED and applied to it, but I still really like the school and the program only reviews applicants for THAT specific program. I saw somewhere else that there were people able to call admissions and switch their admission plan from the 7 year to regular decision. Is this possible?

Yes. Getting the supplement essentially meant that they were moved to the next phase which is reconsideration before sending to medical school.
I believe you need to pay when you are ready to submit the application. My son is going to submit tomorrow.
Yes. Wait till Feb 1st week to know for sure you are not considered for BS/MD interview. Unfortunately, they don’t formally inform if not selected. Then call and inform them you would like to be considered for regular BS admission and follow the directions.
Does anyone know if Pitt BSMD is on rolling basis? We just rec’d UG confirmation 2 days ago. No word on supplement. But looks like our application was reviewed late based on undergrad confirmation.

i got an email from albany med saying that there’s an application due TONIGHT. is this the supplemental application? I’m really confused coz it doesn’t mention anything about rpi and i didnt get an AMC ID or PIN.
My son also received an email from AMC regarding supplemental application but they did not provide an AMC ID or PIN which is needed to access their portal. Did your email have the AMC ID and PIN?

People who got/filling/submitted AMC supplement - we got it from RPI/AMC yesterday - when we opened the supplement, there is only save button and no separate button for submit. So, does that mean we cannot partially fill and save the supplement application? Do we need to fill all at once and click save (which will submit the application)?
