im sick of watching india playing with 10 men every match

because our wonderful captain cant bat nor field

he sucks at basically everything he does

he is a national embarrassment and symbolizes the our tendancy to tolerate inefficieny (politicians, govt workers, trade unions…)

so i say get rid off dada and set an example for the rest of the nation: we wont tolerate mediocrity anymore.

the only reason he is the most “successful” captain ever is bacause he has a whole bunch of talented players under him. imagine sachin, sehwag and dravid under ponting.

Actually about his captaincy, it is brilliant. The way he rotates his bowlers and the changes he brings about in the batting order are great.

If you notice the no of times Sehwag, Sachin & Yuvraj got wickets when they were introdced at times (when everyone else thought they shouldn’t be) they have taken important match winning wickets!!

About his batting slump, before the Australian tour our very own ‘great sehwag’ had a sorry batting average of around 6-10 in the previous 20 ODI’s or so.

This fickle minded-ness of our nation has to stop ASAP!!!

Yeah. Because he’s going through a bad patch, we should just throw him out, forget everything he has done for the team. Look at the huge transformation he has brought about the team that was left devastated by the 2000 match fixing scandals.

Do not underestimate the pressures that come with being captain. Tendulkar was one of the poorest Indian cpatains of all time, he couldn’t handle it at all.

In fact, following your logic, we should have dropped Dravid in 1999/2000 and 2000/01, when these were his 14 successive scores:
1, 33, 12, 35, 6, 9, 14, 29, 0, 22, 37, 17, 18, 28.
His next 9 innings:
41, 200, 70*, 162, 9, 39, 25, 180, 81 …and you know the rest.

And guess who stuck by Dravid? Ganguly. Don’t you think we should now do the same?

Ganguy needs some time off. he should go back to Ranji trophy and improve his form and come back. i hate ganguly but i think he should take rest and come back because even though he hasnt performed well for the last 2 years, his average still lingers around 41 in the ODIs .Isnt that amazing? He deserves a second chance.
Abt his captaincy, noone else has had much of a chance. mayb dravid n sehwag ll also step up to the task. and if ganguly is so good with the management, why not make him the coach instead of looking for greg chappell, dave whatmore and tom moody?
On a different note, I think Agarkar is an issential component in the Indian team. Your views?

If I was a cricketer, I would hate to play for India - because of the fans’ attitude.

Sure, when a player plays well, they cheer the loudest. But when a player is down, they also kick him the hardest.

If you want someone to blame for today’s loss, blame India’s bowlers, who were shocking. There is no need to go after Ganguly everytime India lose. There is only so much a captain can do when his bowlers are not playing well.

We arent *ed at Ganguly because we lost just this one match. The ICC is *ed at him because he has a long history with slow over rates.

Indians are ****ed at him because of his wonderous batting performance. It doesnt matter if someones got 22 centuries. Its more important that they be consistent. Or captain, on the other hand, has been consistently inconsistent (yes. I gave up trying to make my sentences make sense since the rejections…).

Tendulkar has the same problem, alhough to a lesser degree.

Cricket TOTALLY SUCKS!!! No wonder India isn’t well reagarded in the world sports arena… because Indians stick to cricket so much that they suck at other sports… DIE CRICKET!!!

Folks, you’ll be fine. India’s too good of a cricketing nation to fail because of one single player. Cricket is a team sport - although, granted, individual performances do count a lot - and as such, there can’t be just one reason the team loses. Hash said it best: India lost because its bowlers couldn’t protect 315 against a young Pakistan side. So blame them.

And if I were ever to play Test cricket, I’d love to play in India and for India - the passion for cricket there is incredible (although weather is a bit too hot for my liking)
