Theendsputrid, good luck at UVA next year. I’m sorry that Rice did not end up being affordable for you, but I am sure you will enjoy your time at UVA. There are many people who would love to have the chance to attend that school. :)

good luck in UVA

Okay. As a parent, I have to pipe up and say that these Rice posts are the funniest yet. Just imagining a bunch of genius kids doing the stuff y’all do. Gives one hope.

My favorite, though, is your comments about the ugly girls with hairy legs. I tease my son’s best friend mercilessly about that one. He will probably go to Rice, as his dad and grandfather and his uncle and just about every other male in his family did.

But seriously, you guys are so lucky to go to such an amazing school. I wish it weren’t in Houston, so my son would give it a chance.

Good luck and go to a baseball game! Y’all always have a great team!

It’s okay. The warm (understatement) weather in Houston also drew people like me over… I applied to WAYYYY to many schools in the north.

“ugly girls with hairy legs”

hahaha this cracked me up. i never saw it when it was originally posted… what was that all about anyways?

Right here…

haha that was a very funny thread. But so untrue. There are many cute girls going to Rice this year, and I assume many cute ones in Rice right now

and the people are… so nice!

when do we find outt which college we got assigned to? :p

July sometime if i remember right
