<p>Anyone have any neat-colored face plates or cases for theirs? I’m looking into them for a new calculator, and it would be neat to see who has what.</p>

<p>Does it matter? I like my simple black Ti-83. It’s not like you want to see your calculator any more than you have to…</p>

<p>I have a tip:
Take off the faceplate and write your name on the calculator underneath. That way, if somebody steals your calculator and crosses out your name on the outside, you can just whip off the face plate and say “HA! THEIF!”, because it will say your name right there. Most people wouldn’t think to look underneath.</p>

<p>Mine is so gross… I put it in this purse I bought in China, and the faux-suede interior has discolored it so it’s brown now. That’s what I get for buying the light-colored Plus Silver.</p>
<p>I want an 89 when I go to college. But I probably won’t buy one because I don’t plan on taking math classes every year.</p>
<p>I’ve got mine decorated with sparkles and shiny objects that are glued onto it. It is definitely the center of attraction in any mathematical tests. :)</p>

<p>I wanted to get the pink, but it’s just not professional looking so I just got the normal gray one.</p>
<p>mine is this awesome bright light blue. Said it was exclusive to office depot which I’m sure it wasn’t but I haven’t seen anyone else with the same one and I love it.</p>
<p>I’ve seen blue, pink, yellow, and purple ones. Gray still looks the best, IMHO. The other colors are just distracting.</p>

What are you talking about?! I love my TI-84+ Silver edition!!! I even named her. She is known to all as Aelita. :)</p>
<p>EDIT: Also, Aelita is decorated with a mini-periodic table taped to the lid with significant figure rules pasted on the inside of the lid. :)</p>

<p>If I was planning on spending long amounts of time with it in my college years, I might have considered making it pretty. The most I’ve done to it is doodle on it with white-out which just makes it look uglier :D</p>
<p>My grey Plus Silver is named Frederick the Great (I was having a hard time with Euro one night). I sort of want to buy a pink faceplate.</p>
<p>Guess I’ve been living under a rock–I never knew TI-84’s had customizable faceplates. I also have never known anyone to name their calculator.</p>
