There were about 4 shows that were interesting in my area, but of course, they are all sold out. And we had no notice. When I checked yesterday, nothing was posted for my state. Today, lots and all sold out. Received an email from TM that says they will not be posting when tickets become available so check frequently. Great! >:P
Referring to it as a “wave”. 8-|
This is worse than trying to get free seats with frequent flyer miles when only 5 are allocated per plane. How can this be legal? I don’t even have any in my area! Neither does NYC or northern CA.
They had something available in Mountain View the other day.
I’m sure I’ll never get to use my 17 FREE voucher codes, but I was able to get a $2.25 discount off of tickets for a concert I was going to anyway. Doesn’t quite pay for the fees, or parking, but it’s something
I was able to get 4 tickets to a decent concert today. Only 30 more to go! I will get all my freebies!
They finally listed some events in New Orleans at the House of Blues. About 10 events and 6 of them were tribute bands, ugh… I did get tickets to see someone called Richard Cheese and Lounge against the Machine. There seem to be at least 10 of us going for free. Maybe we should wear matching hats.
@greenwitch: I ran across Richard Cheese a couple years back. In all seriousness, if I ever get the chance I’m going to one of his shows—look up his cover of “Welcome to the Jungle” for sheer inspired lunacy.
All of the New Orleans vouchers have been used. Sigh.
@1or2Musicians check in the morning every day. They are releasing them in small batches.
Is it like we’re all trying to buy Hamilton tickets here? When I was in NY for a few days last month, H and I tried for the Hamilton lottery every day. He found an app that would enter for you.
That’s what we need. An app that will send you an alert if any free vouchers are available. If ticketmaster can play games, so can we.
