NSM,
I rarely watch TV either and I was laughing just reading the text you posted of the SNL Skit and so I had to look it up on YouTube and it is very funny. Watch it.

This is an interesting article:

[The Associated Press: Tiger’s troubles widen his distance from blacks](http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5gGs6MiHNHuLCVRQ-fMOmO8Sr7ASgD9CDRIGG0)

I have never understood how a mistress (as is being quoted about Uchitel and Grubbs in this case) get upset if their married partner is also seeing other mistresses. I mean, um, what about the fact that they go home at night to their wife? She doesn’t count as “cheating” as well? Add to that, what makes them think that if the guy is willing to cheat with them, that they won’t also do so with others? And do they truly believe they have a monogamous exclusive relationship in the first place with these married men? Hello???

Even the news articles seem like they are trying to write comedy (if this weren’t so sad…I feel really sorry for his wife, let alone how public this story is):

Thats an easy one! If theres another mistress then they feel like they are the one being used, instead of the other way around.

Its a perspective thing.

I’m impressed.

^^^ He should write a book. Any suggestions for the title?

*** I was playing around with the “how to get a Tiger in your tank” theme, but… naah.

Now he’s losing even more support from the black community because all the girls are white.

"The number of women connected to Tiger Woods could topple a dozen by week’s end, according to several sources familiar with Woods’ behavior during his frequent trips to Las Vegas.

Over the course of the weekend, Las Vegas-based Jamie Jungers, New Yorker Cori Rist and Florida-based Mindy Lawton have all been identified as having extramarital connections to Woods, bringing the total of named women up to six. According to British tabloids, Lawton might be Woods’ first mistress; the two met at a Perkins restaurant near Woods’ home where Lawton was a waitress, just two years after Woods married Elin Nordegren.

As for other women who have yet to come out, several prominent Las Vegas-based nightclub managers say that although Woods had women he had a “relationship” with, there were definitely others.

He wasn’t one to send away someone who was interested. There was a revolving door of women with Tiger,” said one. “I can think of half a dozen off the top of my head. But if you want his business — and you do — you make sure it’s kept as discreet as possible.”…

Isn’t it kind of weird that a dozen or so women carried on with Tiger Woods and NOT one felt the need to dish until now?

Don’t the French have a saying to the effect that it’s OK to cheat on your wife by having a mistress, but cheating on a mistress is a no-no.

Went looking to see what articles would pop up by googling Tiger’s name this morning. Didn’t find any from overseas publications, but did find this tidbit from a reliable source on infidelity-- Hugh Hefner. Its from an “ETOnline” blog, so can’t link the article, but it says
Such a lovely sentiment.

I have no doubt that there were many, many other women that have not come forward if there are 8 so far that have admitted affiars with Tiger publicly. There have to be at least some who are too embarassed.

If you want very intimate details about Tiger’s sex life, go to the Huffington Post and click on its links to the articles in “News of the World” and “Daily Mail.” I’d link directly, but the articles have such explicit information from his alleged mistress Mindy Lawton that I fear that a direct link would cause this post’s removal.

The clean details are that this $8 an hour waitress was willing to be his bed partner for nothing more than his treating her to drinks one night. So much for some women’s being attracted to him for his money…

Many times apparently, they didn’t even use a bed. Once, a church parking lot was where they had their …um… date.

In her case, Tiger appears to have been happy with someone who was busty and dumb, very dumb.

Sigh… what some women will settle for…

Presumably, now at least she’s getting paid for her trashy tail, er, tales.

Northstarmom - what makes her credible? She is now getting paid to concoct a tale. Why not spill months ago - her payoff would have likely been higher.
Not saying she is lying but also not sure she is telling the truth. As a female, I find the notion that dozens of women would keep silent about their relationship with Tiger is somewhat preposterous.
Every waitress that he left a $5 tip for a cup of coffee is now going to come forward and get her share of the pie.

"Not saying she is lying but also not sure she is telling the truth. As a female, I find the notion that dozens of women would keep silent about their relationship with Tiger is somewhat preposterous. "

From what I’ve read, the women did talk – to their friends, co-workers and families. They just didn’t try to sell their stories to the media until his accident occurred and those women realized they could make lots of money by talking.

There also appears to be some indication that Tiger was very blatant about what he was doing with these women.

Lots of celebrities have groupies. In general, the groupies are more interested in being with celebrities than talking to the press. However, now that Tiger’s groupies are getting paid what rumor has are very big bucks – including by him – , maybe this will start a long series of tell all interviews with all sorts of celebrities’ groupies telling their stories.

If you look into the $8 an hour waitress’s story, you’ll find that one of her and Tiger’s outdoor “escapades” in a church parking lot apparently was filmed by National Enquirer which used that information to get Tiger to allow them to interview him for a cover story for another magazine owned by their company.

A less salacious link than if you check the British sites that I mentioned before.

"The New York Post has a doozy of a story, claiming that the National Enquirer had photos of Woods “getting busy” with a woman in an SUV. But instead of publishing the scoop, the Enquirer killed the story in return for the golfer agreeing to pose for a rare cover story for Men’s Fitness, a magazine owned by the Enquirer’s parent company, American Media.

Now that’s what I call media synergy! The Post quotes Neal Boulton, former Men’s Fitness editor in chief, saying he left the magazine as the deal was going down. “We were going to do a [quid pro quo] with America’s favorite sports star, just to get his name on the cover of the magazine. That was too much for me. That’s when I high-tailed it out of there.”

Woods appeared on the cover of the August 2007 issue of Men’s Fitness, even though he had an exclusive deal with rival Conde Nast’s Golf Digest to serve as their “playing editor.”

From what I’ve read, it appears that Tiger was not only having sex with some of these women, but also declaring love and loyalty in order to keep them in line. It would make sense that he could have an entire harem of women who thought they were the only one (besides his wife). It was only after the car crash that all of this came out publicly, which would account for the anger of many mistresses at the same time and their willingness to talk. None of them (or few of them) knew about the others. Also, I’m sure that not all of them have verifiable proof of their involvement with Tiger (texts, voicemail, etc.). But they still may want to try to get their piece of the payoff pie.

I’ve heard that some women go after married men because they’re more likely to be free of STDs as they’re just with one person. Of course this case has shattered that fallacy.

The waitress mistress said he didn’t believe in wearing condoms… . Her sister says she (the sister) was worried that the mistress would get diseases, but the waitress didn’t worry about things like that. She was hoping he’d marry her!
