Dadof3; I agree. During one company sales conference I attended, 6 out of 8 married men in our group went to a local whore-house. At another, the GM sat at a table with his minions and a group of models working at a trade-show, behaving in a not very GM like manner as well as not very husbandly manner (all the men were married)…that’s before’ the nightclub visit. As you said, the chances increase exponentially as the wealth/opportunity does.

Paramedics called to the Woods’ home and pictures show a blonde being transported to the hospital.

This morning’s Good Morning America reported that a woman (and it appeared from the video that it was a blonde-haired female) was transported to the hospital in the early morning hours today (around 2-2:30 am-ish I believe) from Tiger Woods’ home. They didn’t say who it was (wife? Mother in law? someone else?) or why she was taken. This is getting so increasingly odd, and so increasingly sad.

*** Cross-post with Toledo***

Could this be Elin’s mother maybe? What a mess. Will Tiger’s playboy ways be excused because he used vicodin? I hope not.

Agree. A mess. The other thing that might be tried is the “I took Ambien which caused me to do things I don’t remember” excuse. Hope they dont go there. How much lower can he sink? So sad. Truly.

I was just thinking about all those guys in Woods’ “retinue” who knew about his behavior…including his agent…these were people who would have been on the phone with Elin, at her home, around her at tournaments, and here they all knew what he was up to. I know they were business people but I bet in those circumstances lines get blurry when you’re spending so much time together. If I were her I’d feel betrayed by them, too. Anybody know what I mean? Like if you found out your cheating spouse’s coworkers who you knew all knew what he was up to… I don’t know…just bugs me.

Yes. Tiger has benefitted by many people covering his tracks, and obviously, for many years. In this article, where the prosecutor refused to release the blood work for Tiger, who was admitted to the hospital as an OD…we can wonder at the domestic abuse claims…the good news is that Elin is leaving. The bad news is that Tiger has a lot more problems than just having sex with porn stars. If you or me crashed? The prosecutor would have let the police have the OD blood work. I promise.
People can say what they want about nancy grace, but Poet, this is what she honed in on last night. His kid glove celebrity treatment with law enforcement.

dke-- I don’t know Nancy Grace, but she is right if she says the law enforcement situation has been a little bit strange, to say the least.

Curiouser and curiouser: [REPORT: Woman Rushed to Hospital from Tiger Woods’s Home - Elin Nordegren, Tiger Woods : People.com](http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20325459,00.html)

It has also been reported that the woman transported to the hospital has been released.

well, at least there’s that.

After she was reported to be on “advanced life support” … she was treated and released?

The media really needs to take a collective deep knee bend and chill.

^^^^^^No kidding.

Good to know he respects something.

I just had a dreadful thought. Elin has a twin sister. Given Tiger’s lack of self control and desire for women of a certain type, I would imagine that he has made passes at the sister. It’s hard to imagine that he would have been able to control himself not to do that.

If the woman rushed to the hospital early this morning was his MIL, and if she made a suicide attempt, I am wondering why she would have done that. I hope that the reason is not what I am fearing.

“retinue”. A new vocab word, dke. Thanks!

"Orange County firefighters responded to a 911 medical call at Tiger Woods’ home in Isleworth this morning and transported an unidentified woman to the hospital.

Rescue crews took the patient to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee. Latham did not disclose the identity of the woman, but WESH-Channel 2 is reporting that she is Barbro Holmberg, Woods’ mother-in-law, and that she was treated for stomach problems.

Officials at the hospital’s emergency room told Fox News the woman has been released."

Blond woman looks to be his mother in law who was taken in with stomach pains. Normal people aren’t used to this kind of stress.

Reports seem to say that the wife has moved out of the house. Wonder if she gets to keep the millions of dollars in staying bonus…

Actually, I don’t care about the bonus, I’d be out too.

dke - I know someone who used to work as “location manager” on movies and among her many duties was finding someone for a particular movie star to screw at every location. It can’t be an altogether unusual occurrence.

I am thinking that given Tiger’s sex life, odds are that he picked up some STDs. Wondering if he worked out some deal with doctors to treat his wife without telling her. Having a billion dollars can buy lots of unethical support.
