About the CC poster who boasts endlessly about a particular university: That person’s encouragement resulted in at least one other CC poster’s son (mine) getting a very early admission and a full-tuition scholarship. Everything that poster said about the school’s application process and generosity turned out to be true for us. So, even if it is advertising, at least it’s not false advertising.

(I don’t know the relevance of this topic to Tiger Woods, either, but I felt I should say something.)

Well, TW was “dating” a Perkins waitress for a while. Its motto is “Breakfast is just the beginning.” Apparantly, that is truth in advertising. For sure, for TW.

TW may have selected from the “Just for Starters” menu featuring “Dixie Dippers.”

Yep, I bet TW had a Dixie Dipper. Perhaps even in the parking lot. Maybe even did carry- out and had some at home.

magnolia and mantori-
Nothing wrong with side or OT conversations, IMO. And certainly nothing wrong with getting a lead to an early admit with $$, and congrats to your s, mantori. But that post topic (the benefits of that particular school) began to feel a bit like kudzu. It was everywhere, and it grew and grew. LOL.
