I think nsm referred to TW. Some of these wowen are borderline UGLY. I’m sorry if this word offends anyone.

Actually, I think that even the plainest of his alleged mistresses has above average looks. All appear to have beautiful figures.

As for Tiger Woods, I’ve always considered him to be ordinary looking.

I haven’t read the whole thread so I don’t know if this was mentioned before or not. After all the skanky mistresses started coming out of the wood work, I went back and read a little of Tiger’s bio. He has been playing golf since the age of 2 and a prodigy since 3 or 4. I have known a few of these “prodigies” in other sports that my kids participated in through the years and they are all completely controlled by their parents. Everything is monitored from what they eat, how much they sleep, etc. These kids are great athletes but socially they are very stunted. I suspect Tiger has led a similar life. His father died a few years ago and my guess is that Tiger found himself suddenly “free”, in his early 30’s with the sexual sophistication of a 14 year old. Of course this is all speculation.

“Am I the only one wondering about Elin’s mother and the 911 call? First off, it happened at 2:30 a.m., which makes me wonder what was going on in the home that they were up. 2nd, she is reported to have arrived at the hospital on her own. 3rd, people have stated she moved out, but the ambulance went to their home…I am wondering if she kicked Tiger out. 4th, they have announced her mother is a county governor in Sweden and will be returning home next week. Is she here to help Elin move out, since Elin in the last month or 2 settled on a $2 million mansion in Sweden.”

bandp, I’ve been wondering the same things. I read that Elin’s mom came here to be by her daughter’s side through the difficulties (and probably to help care for the kids with all this craziness) and I’ve seen a photo of the house on an island in Sweden. I heard on the news last night that the diagnosis at the hospital was “stomach problems” and this morning heard a bit of the 911 call where Elin asked them to hurry because her mom had collapsed. A general picture of a household in turmoil. If I were Elin, I’d grab those kids and head to Sweden with mom just for some peace and quiet for a bit, even temporarily.

Hey, JS62…I made a post pages ago that also put him at age 14. We agree!
I think it’s more a lack of emotional development vs an addiction or sickness. Add in the arrogance and power you get from being a celebrity…and wallah…you have Tiger!
I was trying to put myself in the poor MIL’s shoes. Imagine, your d marries a successful rich and highly admired man. Has two beautiful kids. Next thing you know, you’re at her house due an ugly scandal, having stomach pains due to the stress. And then YOUR picture is all over the news. Awful. Pool lady. Poor kids. Poor wife. I agree that they should just high tail it out of there.

As a child of divorce due to an extra-marital affair, my heart really breaks for Elin, not only is she dealing with the devastation of her marriage, but now her Mom flies to be with her and she has to worry about her health.

I truly hope for her and Tiger that they can get past this and be a source of inspiration for marriages that endure this type of pain, but I am not sure it is in her nature. She appears to put private family life at the top of her list, and due to his notoriety I don’t think they will ever have this put to rest. Just imagine next yr at the Masters, or the Open and she walkd on the greens after he wins, it will be a part of the commentary…Tiger has shown he is the consumate athlete, only 5 months ago there was his accident that turned his life upside down with 11 mistresses, etc. etc. etc.

The average Joe and Jane Schmoo can keep it private, this allows them to get past it. Not so for TW and Elin.

My heart breaks for both of them. I truly believe he loves her, if he didn’t he would have never marrieed her. However, I have seen 1st hand that the belief that they chose you as a spouse does not give comfort when they elected and selected which marital vow they will follow.

What is the most disgusting fact is not the affairs, but if the reports are true, he risked the life of the mother of his children by not using protection. I have been fortunate to never have had to endure the thought of a cheating spouse, but as mad as I would be for the betrayal, I would be off the wall to know that there could be not only other children that he is a father to, the fact that I would have to walk into a gyn and tested for STDs would just kill me. That would be the end of our marriage, it would tell me that it is all about hm and I never was a second thought.

I think they should ALL load up on their G5 and head to Sweden, an island somewhere, or wherever, as long as it is secluded and extremely private - Tiger, Elin, both kids, both moms. The United States has become an absolute cess pool for celebrities. Get outa’ Dodge and see if they can repair their relationships. Forget all about everything else, including golf, for at least 6 months.

BTW, I am in no way condoning Tiger’s actions with the “bevy of beauties” he was seeing.

“As for Tiger Woods, I’ve always considered him to be ordinary looking.”

Yeah, ordinary looking for a billionaire. And as somebody once said of a billionaire, 'he isn’t God, but he’s the next closest thing." LOL

“I truly believe he loves her, if he didn’t he would have never marrieed her.”

If he’s a narcissist, he could have wanted to marry the type of woman who’d burnish his image and help him get sponsorships, run his homes, and bear and raise his offspring.

She’s beautiful, classy, comes from a well respected background, and may have therefore fit the bill for him just like when one of us buys a car that meets our needs. That doesn’t mean that he loves her.

I doubt Tiger knows what it means to love at all. Look at how he grew up. It sounds like it was all about self interest and control.

Btw, this thread seems to have really brought CC down. The top of my CC page has an ad that says “Meet the hottest singles on zoosk!” That’s a first.

I truly believe he married her for love, the same way I believe Prince Charles married Diana for the exact same reason. (don’t know how to roll eyes)

Image?
Trophy?
Kids?

OT, emoticons
[College Confidential - Smilies](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/misc.php?do=showsmilies)

Ha ha…I’m also getting the ad for meet the hottest singles on Zoosk and another ad for Sober College, not your ordinary rehab!

Apparently Tiger Woods was up for the Congressional Medal of Honor.

No more.

There is a poster who shall remain unnamed who posted many, many MANY posts about the benifits of one particular University, its scholarship programs, etc, and encouraged many, many MANY to consider applying to that school. I get ads for that university either at the top of or on the left side of CC constantly. Gotta wonder if there isn’t money to be made in doing that…

"Say what? So many racist posts?

I am assuming that you missed the part that my posts are actually denouncing the people who have used race selectively as an excuse to defend people who happen to have similar agendas.

Perhaps I should be less subtle."

Gee Xiggi, I remember when you were a little tyke just applying to college. You would talk to us here in the parents’ corner and I used to admire how articulate and well informed you seemed.

Now I read arrogance, sarcasm and cynicism in most of your posts and I have started skipping them.

Communication/conversation isn’t about being subtle, it is about sharing your views in a kind way and listening to and allowing other people to share their views. If you think someone else is out of line then ignore them or simply say–XYZ, I respectfully disagree with your opinion because I think…

It reflects poorly on the one who “subtly” attacks others. You are smarter than that.

Firefox blocks that CC ads for me. Sometimes pages load far more quickly because of that as sometimes the adservers would get stuck.

I hear you, jym, the sales pitch is hard to miss. Made me think of something I saw recently about a young 20s something man who wears tshirts advertising different companies and makes their sales pitch via a video blog from his living room sofa. A different tshirt and sales pitch for each day and he’s making good money to do it. I’m not ready for CC to go video on us though.

Edit: Sorry, just realized that this post has absolutely no relevance to tw. Oh, well!

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but Uchitel is spilling. Apparently the contents of one of TW’s emails to her became public.
