I feel sorry for him

If in the infinitely small chance that you are reading this, I forgive you Tiger.

I feel sorry for him

If in the infinitely small chance that you are reading this, I forgive you Tiger.

It was unfortunate that he did not allow questions from the press. If he wants to prove to me and the rest of the public that he is worthy of our fandom, then be a man and answer the hard questions. In my opinion the first question should be: “When your children are of age to understand your transgressions, how will you prepare them for the cruel onslaught of taunts from their peers in school?”

“If in the infinitely small chance that you are reading this, I forgive you Tiger.”

What right do any of us have to forgive Tiger? Unless we’re his wife or his other family members, he didn’t do anything to us.

“If he comes out and says he found Jesus in there, those around him had better not be standing near anything metal.”

May be why he said he will renew his practice of Buddhism.

I thought he could have waited until the Olympics were over.

Who watches the olympics anyway?

NSM, MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY. Really, it’s none of my business anymore.

Like all of us in recovery, by living each day in a manner that the children will know of the parent’s love and value of that child.

FWIW–the “cruel taunts” from other children will come from those children’s parents feeding their children the dirt and the parents’ distain.

^^ What 07Dad said.

You all are a very tough bunch. I hope nothing ever harsh ever happens to any of you.

I was very pleased with his speech. He clearly was a broken man and I felt his sincerety. He owes me and no one else anything. I am neither judge or jury. I just wish him the best and hope he can find that balance he is seekiing.

I hope his wife and children can attain balance and stability.

I thought he hit the right tone and I’m glad to hear he is headed back to treatment.

I am surprised anyone would care enough to watch it. Not because I have anything against (or for) the guy. But he wasn’t unfaithful to me, so he doesn’t need to apologize to me! I have nothing to forgive him for. That is between him and his family. I do hope they can get t all sorted out for the sake of his children. But as far as I am concerned it has nothing to do with me.

^^^^
I’m with you.

True, I wish he didn’t have to read his apology from a script, but I was very glad that he at least came in front of the camera and admitted his wrongs. You’re right Tiger: you aren’t/weren’t entitled to act like that!

I was also pleased that he seemed to put Elin’s feelings in the forefront and allowed me to realize how the media hounds celebrities for their dirt because “we” want it, not because it’s right or necessary. He was right to underscore the appropriateness to keep these discussions between a husband and wife.

Moving on …

What amazed me is that as Tiger left in a car a camera (probably from a helicopter) followed his car for a long time!

I agree with all of you who said that this is between Tiger and his wife. (I also believed that with former Pres. Clinton)

However, if you go into a profession that has intense public scrutiny, whether right or
wrong, do not be surprised or indignant when it happens. Tiger got very rich and famous because of his talent and intense public interest. I guess now he is becoming infamous for the same reason (a different kind of talent).

I have witnessed first hand (not my h) how utterly devastating and destructive a cheating spouses activities can have on a partner’s life. “I am an addict and sorry, please forgive me”, just doesn’t cut it. But if Tiger’s wife chooses to, that is her business.

“However, if you go into a profession that has intense public scrutiny, whether right or
wrong, do not be surprised or indignant when it happens. Tiger got very rich and famous because of his talent and intense public interest.”

And because he maintained a squeaky clean image that helped him be a marketer’s dream.

There should be a law against these stupid body language experts commenting on anything.

Is there some body language expert commentating on Tiger Woods? LOL. Leave the guy alone is how I feel at this point.
