Donny Osmond
Valerie Bertinelli
I had it bad for Paul Newman & Robert Redford. Also Sean Connery & Omar Sharif.
Later, Harrison Ford.
My older brother had the album Let It Be and I was won over by Paul McCartney.
Looking back, I cannot understand how I dismissed George Harrison.
Beatles aside… Tom Hanks. Back in the day, I spotted him in Splash (first dibs?!) ? - many years later, he is still one hot dude second only to Mr. B!
Michael J Fox. Still get a warm feeling whenever I hear The power of Love on the radio somewhere!
Jameson Parker. Who remembers him?
As a teen, Kris Kristofferson. As a preteen, I was fickle - Bobby Sherman, Bob Crane (RIP), Robert Clary, Sean Connery, Robert Redford, John Sebastian, and probably half a dozen others.
I like Winston Duke, Michael B Jordan, and Chris Evans. And I gotta say, Steve Carell and Paul Rudd get more attractive each year- I don’t know if it’s them, or me getting older. Ha!
Bobby Sherman (pre-teen)
Paul McCartney
I remember Jameson Parker and yes I crushed on him as a young adult! But oh my gosh I just looked him up and he is 72!!! 72!!! - what?!!
I must be the same age as a number of folks here as Mark Lester was my first, then Bobby Sherman and David Cassidy. Celebrity crushes receded as I got to date real people instead of spending Friday nights imagining how to make David Cassidy fall in love with me from afar.
I did gasp when Brat Pitt came on screen in Thelma and Louise though . . . .
Davey Jones, Shaun Cassidy, and Scott Baio when he first appeared as Chachi in Happy Days. I would loiter at the local supermarket newstand reading Tiger Beat.
I had a friend in 8th grade who always wore purple socks in honor of her crush, Donny Osmond.
And he’s become a cranky old man, too! I’ve really gone off him…
James Taylor. I couldn’t get enough of Fire & Rain.
@Lindagaf Andy Gibb; I still have my Shadow Dancing album!
Marie Osmond, Angela Cartwright
@ChoatieMom --Peter O’Toole and Omar Sharif?? Did you just watch Lawrence of Arabia on TCM the other night? ( I did❤)
David Cassidy was really popular when I was in 5th grade. Some of my friends liked Bobby Sherman, Jack Wild, Donny Osmond, etc. Our neighbor gave me and my sisters her old copies of Tiger Beat–haven’t thought of that in years!
All you Mark Lester and Jack Wild fans–did you ever see the cute/sad/funny offbeat movie “Melody,” with music by the Bee Gees?
Brooke Shields, Cindy Crawford
Still today?
Bo Derek still hangs on my ceiling?
David Cassidy, Robert Redford, and Michael Landon! As a teen, I used to watch old (and new) episodes of Bonanza and also watched him later in the 70s in Little House on the Prairie. It’s embarassing to admit now, but I even cut a picture of him out of some magazine and carried it around in my wallet. I was really sad when he died.
