I label each album with a unique name…right now we have Africa 1, and Africa 2. There is an Africa 3 but I chose NOT to put that on my IPad. Can’t you just rename your photo albums?

Abasket…if you got to Starbucks…every Tuesday they put out free Itunes codes for either music or an application. You pick up the card and redeem it through Itunes by putting in the redeem number.

I have not maximized my apps on my I-pad but I have discovered checking out books from the library via Overdrive! It works great and I’m fiendishly reading now before it has to be returned.

Haha. Who says I don’t like the Apple products? Because I did not fall in the KoolAid barril? I own (and use) about everything they make. Like many people, I am connected to my iPhone and a … MacBook Pro. I spend my days looking at one of those magnificent large Apple displays. I run with an Ipod or that little bitty one. And, I do TRY to find more uses for the iPad(s) I own.

However, I do not hesitate to criticize their products when they fall short. And, fwiw, it helps to own the products that compete with them to become aware of the limitations. Is there really anyone who believes that Safari is the best browser? Is there anyone who way that the Office versions for the Mac are better than on a Windows platform?

Things have changed for Apple in the past 4-6 years. With the arrival of the Iphone, the redesigned Mac series, and the … iPad, Apple is no longer relegated to exploit the academic or graphic design market and be a niche player. But that does not mean that the boatload of quirks have disappeared.

I could, but I would have an unruly numbers of albums. And I would still have to deal with the inherent inability to organize the inner albums according to my own needs.

I got my parents an iPad 2 for Christmas (they’ve been wanting one). Thought I’d get a book to go with it. They have an iPad 2 for dummies and an iPad for Seniors dummies book. Anybody know the difference?

Are there any helpful Facebook pages to “like” for iPad users? Something like the Nook pages which share when there are new apps, free apps, that kind of thing???

I got my first generation IPad for a great price the week after the IPad 2 was introduced. I do sometimes wish I had the camera but really other than that…I’m very happy with my bargain IPad 1. I have a 32gb wifi one and I have tons of memory left on it…not planning to upgrade any time soon.

I follow The unofficial apple weblog on twitter- they often alert you of apps on sale etc.
