Xiggi asks: Is there anyone who way that the Office versions for the Mac are better than on a Windows platform.

Me. Absolutely HATE Word on my work PC. Cannot stand it. Much much better on Mac.

What I don’t like about Photos on the iPad is the lack of a search function. I have thousands of photos and dozens of albums on my iPad, and finding one photo or an album is a major pain.

As for apps: I love Flipboard, a newsreader app. I just got CloudOn, which lets you create Word, Excel and PowerPoint docs on the iPad. Wikipanion for Wikipedia. Atomic Web for a browsing substitute for Safari. AppsGoneFree, which lists App sales daily. Evernote.

Apps that are “iPhone only” can still be used on the iPad. You either see them really small, or you can click the 2x button, and it is increased in size. (It’s exactly kinda nice for those of us with older eyes.)

For example, the app Time Mobile is “iPhone only,” but I loaded it on my iPad and read it all the time – it has Time magazine blog entries and some articles. The Time iPad app just allows you to buy the magazine.

Bumping this for new app that was finally approved yesterday. Haven’t had opportunity to use it yet but it sounds really cool.

You may be right, I will let you know when I think of something to use it for.
Now this is really easy to use. A personalized & free magazine application.
