I’m the only freshman in my AP World History class; while I understand the material well and am one of the top students in the class, I’ve never had to do stimulus-based test questions before and they have proved a bit tricky to me. (In which, instead of asking you about the material directly, the test makes you look at a bunch of passages/quotes/images/etc, then synthesize them + your prior knowledge of the material to infer the answers to the questions). My problem isn’t really time management so much as it is choosing between very similar answers - even after reviewing to the point where I know everything covered in class and the textbook, I still find myself guessing on questions where two answers, if you squint hard enough, seem to be correct.
So yeah - all the history AP tests have stimulus questions so I should probably get used to them now. Aside from taking practice tests (which I’m definitely gonna have to do a lot of lol), could I get some tips on how to effectively answer these kinds of questions? Thanks
