'Tis the most wonderful time of the year- playoff hockey of course!

Josephine/Jo (initially named Joe but renamed when it was determined she was a she) looks a bit like my little tortie. I was very amused that a bunch of dudes could not figure out if the kitten was a male or a female. Her ice run was hilarious!

Hope the other cats at the shelter will get attention.

I suspect Jo is a feral, and a challenge for potential adopters. But there are many other cats and kittens to adopt. I wish I could adopt one or two kittens, but Mr. Fang is allergic.

That was a very sloppy game last night, on both sides. @soccerguy315 , maybe they’ll get it together when they play at home on Saturday.

Okay, who stayed up to watch triple overtime?

I did (though it was only 11pm in California.) Super exciting OT, though I went to bed depressed.

the 8pm start times are really killing me on the east coast… I admittedly usually go to bed around midnight, but I get up around 0630 so I can’t stay up much later than that to watch hockey games that go into OT

I watch all the playoff hockey I can. My tv is on the hockey every night. It’s great :).

There are only a very few benefits to being in a time zone that’s behind even the Pacific. Late start time sporting events are one of them.

@soccerguy315

Here, too! And sometimes, we are switching between games. In addition, our Raptors are in the NBA playoffs so there are those games, too. And, of course, watching the Blue Jays games. The hockey comes first, though.

Three games tomorrow, people!

I haven’t been able to listen to 106.7 (local sports radio) the past two days because the Caps talk has me so down.

I have been watching other playoff games, though.

I watched the Sharks win the game in the first overtime. What the heck was that all about? I couldn’t understand why the goal was called back. Then I watched the other two overtimes. Grrrr.

Wait—the Pens and Caps are capable of a non-one-goal game? Who knew!

We live another day!

Could not watch the game, but phew!

Caps can win 2 more, but I’m not counting on it.

Tampa Bay is first to win their series… they might get Stamkos back for the conference finals.

Feel a little badly for Orpik.

Oh my Caps :frowning:

Oh yeah Penguins!

soft goal, followed by a stupid penalty and somehow the pens score twice.

Crosby knocks our best defenseman out of the game with a blatant slash and gets nothing.

If you told me Crosby and Malkin would be held to nothing, I would’ve said the Caps would win the series… not meant to be, again.

I will continue to watch playoff hockey every evening.

In the immortal words of the great Bob Prince- "We had 'em all the way.! "
