Ah thank you Tippu! It’s pretty refreshing looking at pictures of the campus that aren’t propagated by the said school.
I liked the first Uni, UChic, and Rice. CalTech looked really nondescript.

U Chicago library is beautiful! I liked the other pics too although I couldn’t look too closely atm. I’ll be able to scrutinise properly when hiatus ends.
It’s very nice of you to share them with us Tippu. I agree with what arun said: It’s nice to see some stuff that isn’t the school’s material.

No, it is not as bad as my pictures portray. It is very compact and has its own charm. Pasadena is a very nice place.

MIT campus, otoh, is very very ugly and I can not see myself spending four or more years there even if I had the qualifications to get in. Killian Court @ MIT is meh.

One of the things I do when I am at a college campus is visit the bookstore and look at the text books prescribed for science (physics) and engineering (ee/cs) classes. What I find interesting is that several of these books are written by profs at universities which most of us would dismiss in a heart beat.

The building that looks like a cheap motel is one of the dorms. All dorms have similar looks.

But Santa Monica beach is not that far and IMHO the weather more than compensates for ugly campus. Pomona and other Claremont campuses are very nice.

ani, I have left enough clues in my first set. I’ll give 5 chances to guess.
