<p>Tippu-Not everyone has such a distinct accent. My parents are both fluent in Malayalam, yet when they speak no one would guess they’re from the South. The only thing that gives it away is our surname. They’ve lived in Delhi and Bombay for most of their life, so they’re fluent in hindi. In my family, the only people who have a noticeable accent are my grandparents-everyone else always passes off as a North Indian. Same with me-my hindi’s better than my malayalam. There are a lot of people now whose accent belies their actual origin.</p>

<p>pixie, I think our exams our not that hard. IB exams are held in May and they don’t really matter. We get a lot of reading/writing assignments and they keep us busy. There is no tension. Tests are hard but predictable. So, if you attend all classes, submit h/w assignments on time and do suggested reading/problem sets then getting As is not a problem. </p>
<p>We are just staying home for the holidays. Big bro is back from college and he doesn’t want to go anywhere.</p>
<p>Lol…Pixie, dogs can b cute, bt they are awful too. i hav got two dogs at my house, actually they r just puppies. And u cant imagine how much trouble they cause. But yea, wen the female just curls up beside my leg, I cant help bt think ‘sooo cute’</p>
<p>Our dog and cat are best friends. Dog is a 15 lb Terrier/Dachshund mix and cat is a 15 lb b&w hair ball. We got them from a local shelter 3 years ago. Cat is the dominating one. He thinks it is his responsibility to clean dog’s ears and the dog loves the attention he gets. It is really fun to watch them play and then cuddle.</p>
<p>I expect you could say that about CBSE exams too tbh. There’s just the wrong perception created about CBSE I think.</p>

Ha, I don’t know anything about dog/cat/animal breeds. My friend was going “I had the AC on the whole day because my Lhasa apso needed it” and I went “oh” and nodded very knowledgeably.
What did you name them? (if you’re comfortable divulging their names). I doubt anyone’s going to stalk your pets. :p</p>

<p>i named mine Utterly (male) and butterly (female) they r Pomeranian.</p>
<p>Actually my mother named them. I wanted Hana for female and Toshi for male…but noooo, my mum had to show she is amul butter fan</p>
<p>We didn’t know much about dog breeds until we got ours. It had to be something that didn’t shed too much. So, first we got a Lhasa Apso. He was very strange, became very possessive of my mom within a day and wouldn’t let any of us go near her. He would growl at all men/boys. So we had to return him … :(</p>
<p>My family’s always had Black Labs. I’m very partial to them. I’ve never met an irritable Labrador :)</p>

<p>nemo, I agree Labs are the friendliest creatures. Our neighbors have two black labs. Unfortunately, they come to our lawn to do their business and that irritates ours to no end. So, he views all black labs as his enemies and tries to go after them. Can you imagine? Our neighbor’s 70 lb labs are scared of our 15 lb terrier! Our dog doesn’t bark at anyone except black labs!!!</p>
