Nemo: I just went through it and LOVED it! There’s nothing gimmicky about it, trust me. You’re an amazing writer and any college would feel lucky to have you! :)

Happy new year guys!!!

Last night was crazy, to say the VERY least.

What happens at __, stays at .

Amazing.

Toooo goooooood!!! :-D

Even though there are more than enough posts about it, I figured I’d say HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone as well. 2011 FTW! :)

I am at my gramps place, and whoa,I am studying like never b4… I wake up at 6 am, go to tuition at 6.30, back at 7.30-8.00 am, eat brkfast, study accounts, then go to tuition again at 2.00, come back at 3.00, and then study again. Last tuition classes at 6.00 pm, which lasts till 8.pm…then have to go with cousins and my relatives…

Mum said it wud b like a vacation for me…well I am not going to take a vacation ever again if it means waking up at 6.00 am and sleeping at 9.30 pm.

Btw, I hav applied for SUNY stony brook…not any other Uni bcoz I didnt want to push my gramps and mum any further than they already were…

^^^haha.
What’s going on in america New years right now for you Tippu, bubbles? Calling everyone up?

I think I’ve figured out why people who party lots get drunk. Only deliriousness must make them find belting out the same moves to the same songs every week entertaining. :p

meghna, I was curious to know something. You do realize that UBC only gives aid to Canadian nationals/residents right? Weren’t you requiring aid?

“tuition” seems so so common in India!

Haha, pixie, well in NY - we have the popular “ball dropping” in Times Sq. I’ve never gone. It’s far too crowded.

Actually, calling it “crowded” is a gross understatement.

And of course!! Haha, I hope everyone has a fab New Year’s. People who get wasted every other day annoy me…they don’t realize the long-term damages that can have on their bodies! Although I must say - people are at their “funniest” when they are drunk.

Haha. Good luck Meghna!

I am up now because I am making a list of New Year’s Resolutions that I am really hoping I stick to!! I have been sucha naughty girl this past 2010…I’m hoping to change that this year. =) On another note, I’ll be hearing back from colleges 11-12 months from now.

Such a frightening thought!

Tippu, I think Tibet would be an awesome place to visit. Costa Rica too!
I have a few Tibetan friends and they are all such nice people. Haha, they hate the Chinese right now…

And ahh, Pton Dreams, I totes agree! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the South of India. I have a minor obsession with Chennai for some reason. I can’t wait to go back to India!

I made a list one time of all the places I want to visit in life… Let me see if I can find it.

What is ball dropping??

Good luck with your resolutions! I don’t make any at all! My resolutions are generally made per day basis and they usually fail. With such an impeccable record, I already know the life span of my year long resolutions!

There are so many simply fascinating places to visit in the world.

My cousins didn’t come as planned - one of them had fever. :(

Several of my brother’s friends had come over earlier today and it was fun listening to their stories from Brown, Yale and a few other schools. Later we had dinner at a Chinese restaurant and my fortune cookie said “you will make someone’s heart grow fonder”. Mom, half-jokingly, asked me to pick another cookie with a more suitable fortune statement. :p
