To be a Lemming--Junior Year Schedule Help?

Ok, I’m jumping in the water head first here. (And trust me, where I am, it’s freezing cold.)

Here’s my proposed schedule:

AP Bio
APUSH
Honors English/AP English Lang (I’m taking AP English Lang online. My teacher and I are working together to combine the two so my workload will only be as intense as the AP requirements.)
Honors PreCalc/AP Calc AB (Depends on how the rest of my summer PreCalc class goes. It doesn’t seem I’m learning too much…)
Latin II/III (Basically DC Latin III)
Marching Band
Release Time LDS Sem. (Yes, I know the arguments against it. :frowning: )

Then I’m debating between a free hour, foods and nutrition, creative writing, phycology, and digital photography… I’m thinking creative writing or the free hour are my best options.

How’s it looking? Which class should I lean to for my last one. We’re on an A/B block schedule.

Your schedule looks good, try your best to take AP Calc AB. Personally, I would take a free period, especially senior year, I would rather relax atleast for one period. But, that’s up to you, if you would rather take a class rather than a free period. You could do your homework if you couldn’t finish it the night before during your free period, so that’s why I like to have one imo.

I suggest you take College Writing in that free hour.
Take Calc AB online and finish at least Calc BC.

Marching band is a class?

We don’t have college writing, just creative. It’s not intense in the slightest. But I do want to be an English major, so it was a good thought.

And yes, marching band is a class. It’s a combo of symphonic and marching. Our district has yet to reconize them as completely seperate styles, so to be in marching band, you are required to take the class. First semester (at least until October) is marching, the rest is symphonic.

Wow. That’s kind of stupid lol.

You have any videos of your marching band?

Our marching band is TERRIBLE. I’m not taking band next year so I can’t join it. :frowning:
Lol, but I’m joining up Junior/Senior year, where we go to Hawaii. Last year was pretty bad, we had to do thriller, but we didn’t do the dance?!?!?!?!

Nah, no videos. Actually, if there were, I couldn’t post them. I don’t have access to youtube now. (Working from a public location that bans it… uhg).

We’re not too great. We got thrid in our district, but trust me, in Idaho, that is not impressive. We did Night Watch last year and Firebird Suite this year.

Oh stupid rule #2: Freshmen couldn’t join marching band when I was a freshman. (This past year they made it so they can audition in though.)

Wow.
Our marching band just started like 2 years ago though.
I was part of the 2nd year. It was pretty hilarious how bad we were.

Our first parade was terrible. I don’t think half the band kept time.

We only do two parades a year and three-four competitions. Every Friday we play at the home football games though.

But I digress…

Oh every friday?
We only play in like 4 games.
We have like 5 parades though.
This year we’re in the State Fair parade, which is pretty big.

Ya, no social life during marching band, although homecoming game is free (as are all the others for that matter).

We marching in a parade north of us, and then a Christmas one.

Winter parade?
LOL.

We don’t even have uniforms yet.
We do parades with this uniform t-shirt, and khaki shorts.
We do field shows with jeans/uniform jacket.

It’s so messed up.

BTW, I sent you a FB friend request yesterday.

Ha, I can’t access my facebook. (Same reason as youtube.) Plus I only add people I know personally. Sorry. lol

Our uniforms are alright. (1980’s) We’re raising money for new ones though. (We probably won’t get them until after I graduate of course. :D)

It’s k. I already have like 20 CCers on my facebook. It’s kinda funny.

They listed the prices per person for the uniforms, and it was like 0_o.

I’ve had more CC’er friend requests lately than I have from my actual friends.

I’m almost envious of your lack of uniforms though. They’re not that great. Most are polyester, so you’re either really hot or really cold. It gets better when you’re actually marching, but when playing in the bleachers, it sucks.

HA. Playing in the bleachers.
We BARELY did any of that.
It was more like “sitting in the bleachers freezing”.

Ya, got to get together a good repetior of pep band music.

Louis Louis = Epic Classic.
