<p>When I had an abortion 29 years ago- it was before 10 weeks SGA & I had very irregular periods. But I had other symptoms immediately- so I found out I was pg when I was probably a month along and had the abortion the next week.</p>

<p>If a normal pregnancy is considered to be 40 weeks, implantation does not occur until the 3rd week when the blatocyst- which is made up of about 500 cells reaches the uterus after fertilization.</p>

<p>at 4 weeks it is 1/25th of an inch long</p>

<p>at 8 weeks it is 1/2 an inch long</p>
