<p>To those of you, who took 9th grade in Public School, and retook it in Boarding school…</p>

<p>What were your reasons?</p>

<p>Were your parents supportive? (If you are a parent of a student who is retaking/has retooken 9th grade at a boarding school, your answers are welcome.)</p>

<p>I repeated freshman year!! Actually, I’m in the middle of my 2nd freshman year right now. I was kind of young for my grade to begin with (August birthday) and so repeating gave me the age advantage. It puts me in a leadership position in both my academic world and my social world. After dealing with all the freshman drama the 1st time around, you really know better when its take two :slight_smile: My parents were really supportive about the whole thing because high school is the best 4 years of your life, right? Haha. I get to stay a kid for a little bit longer. Might as well enjoy it!</p>
