Harvard, Yale, MIT, Uchicago

I think our val might have gotten into more schools, but these are the only ones I know. He’s still trying to decide between Harvard and Yale.

Yale (SCEA)

My school has a bunch of valedictorians every year (around 20. Seriously. My school is crazy), so I don’t know where all of them have been accepted, but I know we have multiple acceptances to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Columbia, and MIT, not to mention other Ivies, other top universities, and elite LACs.

Brown, Williams, Amherst, Northwestern, UIUC

accepted:
Harvard
Yale
…MIT
Stanford
Columbia (rabi)
Caltech
Brown (PLME bacc/MD)
Penn (Jerome Fisher)
UCB (regents), UCLA, UCSD (jacobs)

Princeton - WL

My school doesn’t rank anymore, but we had acceptances to Princeton, Penn, Stanford (4), Cornell, and MIT, among other great schools like Duke and Hopkins.

@my post this is one guy lol… freaking owned admissions

^ yes he did

Official, womp…

Val: Rutgers University (full ride)
Sal: Rutgers University (full ride, his dad teaches there)

Val is m best friend. She was accepted full ride to Rutgers, waitlisted at Amherst (I think) and rejected from Williams, Yale (after being deferred EA) and UChicago. Sigh.

Sal was accepted to UVa and Rutgers, idk where else he applied.

Third applied to 17 schools. I think he’s planning on going to Swathmore, but I’m not sure.

In top 20 we have four people (at least) who are “1 & done” and they are attending Columbia, Duke, Duke and William & Mary

Others got into Carnegie Melon, UVa, Swathmore, RISD, UMich, NYU. So a pretty good variety! :)

Our school makes everyone who has over a 4.0 valedictorian…
Anyway our top seniors: one accepted at Columbia, one at UPenn, and one at Duke
Meanwhile a fairly smart but not top student got accepted to Harvard for a sport!
Kind of underwhelming…

Me and go to Middlebury College…
I got acceptances from the top five universities in Europe ( I am an international) but I definitely chose Middlebury!!!

All 7 Ivies, Duke, and Stanford. Full ride to Stanford and Cornell so far, others pending. I’m not surprised. She won and was matched to Stanford in the Questbridge College Match, but it’s nonbinding. 4.7 GPA, 35 on the ACT (36 superscore), 2 jobs, mom makes $18k on disability (dad’s not in the picture), vice president of NHS, volunteers several times a week, etc.

2009: MIT
2010: Stanford
2011: MIT

Correction: Val’s is doubtful, it was from a third party student, and now I learn that despite his desire to go to BC and tons of parental money, he will be going to FSU. So I will amend Val to “Not sure, possibly BC, definitely FSU”.

Hmm…

I wonder how many of these posts might be talking about the same person!

Val: Deciding between Northwestern and other schools
Sal: MIT

Don’t know who will be the official “honor graduates” (weird school - we have 2 honor grads each year; 34 people in my class) but top candidates’ acceptances include Middlebury, Boston College, UNC, Villanova, Wake Forest, George Washington…

this year.
val: Princeton. Stanford
sal: vanderbilt

My D is a val at a middle class MI public. She was accepted everywhere she applied: H, Y, Dartmouth, Duke, Vandy, Rice and UVA. It was a nice surprise.

Only know where they ended up

2006 Val Brown Sal-Stanford
2007 Val and Sal-UC Berkeley
2008 Val and Sal- UC Berkeley
2009 Val and Sal-UCLA
2010 Val-MIT Sal UCLA
2011 Val-MIT Sal UCLA
