<p>yeap. as far as i know, only MIY says that you can use Writing in place of TOEFL or vice-versa.</p>
<p>I applied to some University of California colleges (not UCLA) as an international student and I had to take both the SAT II (Writing, Math and another) and the TOEFL. You should check the website for more info, or mail them or something.</p>
<p>I know for sure that Columbia needs SATII. Toefl…if you are not native speaker, you are required to take it.</p>
