Right, so I live in and have only ever been to countries that use water. I can’t even recall seeing toilet paper, let alone using it. I expect to be in the US next fall, so…is it hard getting used to toilet paper?

I have a friend whom I’ve asked about this, and he says it feels dirty/itchy (after being used to water). This has been kinda bothering me for some time - it may be a weird thing to ask, but does anyone have any sort of experience with switching to toilet paper?

(yes, this is a serious post; I’m also asking in HSL because I figure it’s not really relevant to any of the other sub-forums).

In some places, they do not use toilet paper, but use can use water instead. It’ll take some adjusting, but you can always purchase wet wipes. They aren’t dry or itchy and it’ll get the job done.

Although I have no experience in that area, I do have experience in massive curries so my gut says you’ll get used to it and if it helps as first you can buy baby wipes.
