<p>Just to somewhat repeat what I said on the MT forum, be careful in saying “No Training.” “No College” or “???” might actually be more appropriate unless you can find a bio that specifically states it. Even then, it’s often a conceit. Much more often than not, you’d find that they trained in New York, LA, or Chicago studios and/or with private coaches if you saw their actual resumes. Online bios can often be misleading for a variety of reasons … </p>

<p>Also, Sutton Foster dropped out of CMU after freshman year when they apparently told her she’d never be anything but a chorus girl. I’d like to hear the other side of that story, but go figure … LOL I can’t swear to it, but I believe I read or heard somewhere that she studied acting with Uta Hagen at HB Studio after that. Singing and dance? Who knows?</p>
