Too many science classes? Physics 1 exam wrecking my confidence in Physics C?

Hello, after learning that I got a 2 on the Physics 1 AP, I am unsure if I really want to be in Physics C… I mean there are people who are just skipping Physics 1 and 2 to avoid incompetent teachers. I really learned nothing in Physics 1 yet I want to be in an engineering major. I understood very few of the concepts presented on the AP. The entire Physics 1 year consisted of memorizing how to solve math problems related to physics.

My schedule next year consists of this:

  1. Physics C
  2. Ap Calc BC
  3. micro/macro
  4. Ap bio
  5. AP compsci
  6. Ap stats
  7. AP lit

I am not sure if I can manage 3 sciences. I have always taken 1 science per year due to foreign language classes having the same test days as science. Now that I am foregoing language, I will have a free wednesday and possibly more time on fridays to fit all 3 sciences. I think I should be able to do well without language in the way

I havent taken the SAT subject test in physics either. I dont think physics 1 prepared me enough for it. Does Physics C help?

I took physics C without any prior physics experience & I got an A both semesters & passed the test. I wouldn’t be too hard on yourself, the physics AP tests are incredibly difficult. Also I took AP Bio & AP Comp Sci & they weren’t that difficult if you do all the homework & make sure to study. If you have any more questions feel free to ask!
