Hi! This is my first post, even though I have been checking out the posts here for a long time.
I am starting my high school journey and I know that I need to take rigorous classes, stay involved in my interests, but most importantly stay true to myself. However, I do many different activities and I am wondering if anyone uses a tool to keep track of their achievements and other high school activities.
In summary: Looking for a system or tool to aid me in recording my high school achievements and stay organized.
I would appreciate any help in this matter
Cheers!
You should definitely check out High School LaVie. It is a tool I have used and it truly is helpful. It allowed me to record my achievements and when it came time to fill out the common application I had all of my accomplishments in one nice place. It is an iOS app and you can find it by searching in the store “High School LaVie” (I would post a link, but I do not think this board allows that
)
Regardless, I found the app landing page - mylavie.com
It is a great tool and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay organized and prepared for the college application process.
Good luck with High School and your future academic career !
Hi !!!
I am really thankful for your timely response and great suggestion!
I checked out HSLaVie on the app store and it is a great tool. Already feeling better and more organized. Does anyone else have a experience with HSLaVie? If not you should definitely check it out. I am really enjoying it
HighSchoolLaVie posted a link to their landing page, which is really sharp, but for clarification it is myLaVie.com
Thank you!!
Does anyone else know of any useful tools?
@CollegeTools I just put everything worth mentioning in a standard resume/CV and updated it as I saw fit. No iOS apps needed, although if you think you can make use of them, then by all means do so.
Thank you @MITer94!
I think it is interesting that you were able to just sit down and write all of your resume in one sitting, very cool! I have been enjoying using High School LaVie for a bit now, and I really enjoy that it has reminders for me to record different achievements. It is allowing me to do little bits everyday so when it comes to applying in a few years I will be prepared and organized. So far very useful and I would recommend it to anyone
A good point that @MITer94 brought up is that many people applied to college without using iOS applications. Does anyone else have any suggestions or descriptions of what he or she did?
Thank you! Looking forward to hearing other suggestions, but seriously check out High School LaVie - really crisp and useful.
