Mine:

  1. Scrubs
  2. Family Guy
  3. Malcolm in the Middle
  4. The Fresh Prince of Bel Air
  5. Phineas and Ferb
(for #5-haven’t seen many episodes, but i think its pretty cool)

add comments and your top 5

1) Arrested Development- Funniest Show Ever, was discontinued due to low # of viewers, but got amazing critic reviews, all episodes on Hulu
2) Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia- Funny, takes horrible situations and adds humor
3) The Office- Nothing more to say. Steve Carrell is amazing
4) Family Guy- People either love it or hate it
5) Simpsons- I still like it, even though most people think they should have stopped 10 seasons ago

Perfect list, SmallCollegesFTW. Excellent taste in television. #1 and #2 are my favorite shows. And #1 is, without a doubt, one of the greatest shows created.

Those and Fresh Prince make a great list. Scrubs, I guess.

1 True Blood

2 Malcom in the Middle

3 The Tudors

4 My Name is Earl

5 Law and Order :SVU

I don’t watch much TV but these are the shows i really love to watch when i can.

Comedies:

1) It’s Always Sunny - same reasons as above, feels like a normal group of people
2) 30 Rock - Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan, Alec Baldwin. Almost perfect.
3) Weeds - kind of soap operay at times but still hilarious
4) Arrested Development - watched it on Hulu, thought it wasn’t that great but couldn’t stop watching, very addictive, love will arnett
5) Scrubs - Dr. Cox saves this show from being terrible

Drama:

1) The Wire - Very deep, realistic show about cops and drug dealers. There’s good and bad people on both sides.
2) The West Wing - Good fast paced drama. Nothing’s more intense than people running a country.
3) Dexter - really good, the guy who plays dexter is perfect for the role, a little predictable at times, great guest appearance by Jimmy Smits last season
4) Lost - love it or hate it, it’s a fun show to watch
5) Damages - about lawyers and other people you’d find on CC. haven’t caught up, again, a little soap opera-y

How has no one mentioned Saved by the Bell? That’s an absolute classic (in the sense of how the hell did I watch this shiznit?).

Lost is great.

Weeds is absolutely hysterical, though the 2nd season was a little weak.

But, currently, my favorite show (and one that almost no one watches): Breaking Bad. It’s been called “Weeds” on meth. It’s depressing, realistic, hilarious, suspenseful, ingenuous, incredible acting, and just an amazing show. It’s currently in its 2nd season, so you’ll have to catch up.

Hell’s Kitchen is also really good.

Rome

Monk

Numb3rs

Band of Brothers

Just shoot me…(its kind of old)

Current Shows:

Lost
Breaking Bad
Dexter
Burn Notice
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia

And like someone else said, Arrested Development cannot be topped.

The only shows I really watch every week:

24
Lost
American Idol
The Soup

But I also like CSI, Law and Order, and random shows on the Discover Channel, Travel Channel, and History Channel

SOUTHPARK (c’mon am i the only one?)
that 70s show
malcolm in the middle
scrubs
house

&pretty much anything on the history channel

1.the cosby show!!! ftw
2.The office
3.frasier
4.seinfeld
5.psych

*honorable mention=monk

Malcolm in the Middle? Dude, i see that you guys like those, and that’s fine. But how on earth could you leave out Married With Children? That is the most funniest TV show in history!!

Nothing will ever come close for comedy!

Smart Guy

Sister, Sister

So Weird

Brothers & Sisters

THE DAILY SHOW
COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN

Honorable Mentions: Sex and the City
Girlfriends
Basically anything on MSNBC
Golden Girls
I Love Lucy
Leave It to Beaver

The Office

The Daily Show

Lie To Me

Family Guy

Scrubs

1) Seinfeld

The most culturally significant live-action show of our time. Still hilarious as hell after watching each episode 10 times. George Costanza is a god.

2) The Sopranos

Great depiction of family life (not “The Family”, but the nuclear family).

3) The Simpsons

The most culturally significant show of our time.

4) Freaks and Geeks

The most honest depiction of high school I’ve seen, which was refreshing in our cheesy teen soap opera world.

5) The Colbert Report

Brilliant satire that is so good that many conservatives are fooled into thinking that Colbert has an ounce of sympathy for the people he destroys on a nightly basis. Conservatives, COLBERT IS NOT YOUR FRIEND.

^^^ Yes he is.
