I like TC Masters, but too hard to add another show to the query in the summertime…will look forward to the regular season though!!! (also, did they not do a TC Desserts this year??? I have enjoyed that in the past…)

I think they have done two seasons of Desserts? I’m sure they will do more.

Top Chef Seattle and Next Iron Chef. Who’s with me???

;)

I just figured out my Samsung Galaxy’s a keyboard with emoticons!

♡ :D

Shrinkrap, there is a more recent thread for the current Top Chef Seattle season…it’s currently on page 2 of the Cafe…

Okay, thanks!

Cool two weeks on the next Iron Chef. Last week, seeing that pastry chef Falkner exit with that sour face was priceless. This week, it was the turn of the super obnoxious Mehta to be “surprised” and spiteful.

Next week, it could be Alex and that would be just great. But the rigging will probably get the fatass on the show.

Kind of harsh words to use, fatass, isn’t it Xiggi?
I was sorry to see Chef Faulkner go, I wanted to see the pastry chef beat the rest of the chefs. Just who would you like to see win?

Since I cannot stand Alex and Appelman is rather unappealing, I would gladly take Freitag or Vigneron. Two weeks ago, I thought anyone but Alex, Falkner, or Mehta. Only one left and it will be hard for the judges to not play favorites.

But this is entertainment, and watching the elimination of Falkner and Mehta was entertaining.

Anyone still watching the current season?? Just watched this weeks episode. ugh! Seriously!? They kept Josie over Kristen?!!! Pathetic. Josie has been on the bottom over and over and Kristen has won over and over. What a disservice to the show!!

abasket, I have to catch up but not sure I want to now. Totally disheartened.

So sorry to spoil it !! I usually figure these threads are safe for current week aired episodes.

Padma all but said on Watch What Happen Live - when Kristen called in - that she should have defended herself, that the judges of course guessed what happened but they needed to hear her voice. It was a poor choice by perhaps the most talented chef left.

abasket, I wanted the update but not that update! (My apologies to the Josie fans out there). Please post when she gets PKYAG’d.

I was really upset by Kristen getting sent home. I really respect that she was classy enough to bite her tongue, even if she had to pack her knives because of it. I would feel more outraged but I think Josie’s time is short-lived no matter what. Sheldon is my personal favorite of the remaining cheftestants. He is simultaneously likeable and talented.

Is it safe to comment on Last Chance Kitchen here? Don’t want to spoil anything for anyone.

yes, it is safe to comment! It is totally fine to be talking about the present shows. I did want the info current episodes–just not that particular outcome!!!

Well if that’s the case then, I’ll admit I was happy to see Kristen knock Big Ceej out of LCK. I loved him in his original season but now he seems really arrogant. His comment regarding the dessert when he was PYKAG’d really put the nail in the coffin as far as me rooting for him goes.

I think Padma said that it was classy of Kristen not to speak up about Josie, that the judges could figure out what happened, but as executive chef it was Kristen’s responsibilty.

I still think it was a dumb choice. Josie drives me crazy, Kristen was so good to watch
