Total Cost From a Student from india to do BS in UCSD

<p>What will be the total cost that a Student from india have to spend to do BS in UCSD apart from internship/research positions?Very much confused.Please help… :open_mouth: </p>

<p>according to me,the tution fees for international students at the UCs is $35,000 per year. apart from this, you will have to pay for medical insurance, books, apartment rent or dorm fees if you prefer to stay there. a 1 bedrrom apartment in southern CA costs around $700- $1000 and one has to spend about $200-300 on grocery. so your living expenses will be around $1000 dollars per month. so the average cost per year would be around $50,000.</p>

<p>I think research positions are very rare for bachelors, but I suppose you can work on campus. Will pay around $5-8/hr, the F1 visa allows 20 hrs per week and 40 hrs per week for holidays. So you can earn upto
$6<em>4</em>9 = $216 during school days and twice as much during holidays. </p>
