<p>Wow. That’s a great news. My kids’ dance teacher was in a fire this summer. She inhaled so much smoke the doctors really didn’t think she was going to pull through. She was sedated for a week before they took her off the ventilator. She is now back at the studio. Not every situation has a happy ending, but it’s good your daughter will start her new life thinking there is hope for her friend.</p>
<p>Thanks for the update; I had been wondering about the girl (and now have goosebumps!). I’m so glad things are looking up for her, and that your D is feeling better about leaving!</p>

Just to encourage you to hope some more- One of my good friends works in a brain injury facility and sees countless cases similar to this. She always says that God created an amazing thing when he created the human body and she sees unexplainable (in medical terms anyway) things almost daily. Glad to hear the good news and praying hard for your D’s friends’ recovery.</p>
