Transfer College Credit from High school?

Im going to be a freshman at Stanford next year. Does anybody know if I can transfer the courses I have (a few credits) from the college courses I took while I was in high school to my Stanford degree?

This is a dual-enrollment type thing…

You have to fill in the appropriate form and submit it to the Registrar’s office to request credit. Sometimes, they might not give physical credit, but they might count it toward GERs or some major requirements (major requirements depend on departmental approval).

look at [Office of the University Registrar - Transfer Credit | Student Affairs](http://studentaffairs.stanford.edu/registrar/students/transfer-credit)

^That’s right. The basic rule is that, if the college courses counted toward your high school diploma or graduation requirements, Stanford won’t count them toward your undergrad degree. If the pre-matriculation courses didn’t count toward your high school requirements, then they may possibly grant credit if the courses are deemed substantially similar in Stanford’s judgment. I think most dual-enrollment credits wouldn’t qualify for transfer credits since they do count toward high school requirements, but you should contact the registrar’s office for more info.

Thanks for the help

Any idea when we get the forms/when they are due?
